This used to be a funny shabby old pub. Now it's a pretentious, ridiculously over-serviced restaurant. (Do I really want to be cross-examined by bored staff - 8 times in one meal???) No. The disabled access is lousy and the parking spaces are small. Find another pub, there are lots locally which will give you a better meal.

Though the decor is dated, it has a lovely feel to it. Lovely service, beautiful setting overlooking their beer garden. Kids can play on the equipment. We really enjoy our meals here as a family. A place we enjoy visiting whenever we go to Nottingham.

Good pub grub. Decent size portions and decent prices. Staff are nice and on the one occasion there has been a problem with the food, it was dealt with swiftly and with apologies.

Very nice place. Clean tidy and the staff very pleasant food very good and if you need an early pint which we did this is the spot. We will be coming back.

Very friendly staff. Good food and puddings and excellent prices. New owner who is very friendly and helpful as we aren't local to area. Lots of advice and tips on getting into Nottingham. Highly recommend will be back tomorrow
