We went today as they had a half price a la carte offer. It was busy at lunch time but the food arrived very quickly.
We had to order through the app which was easy to use.
Food was delicious. Serving staff were efficient and polite.
Would definitely recommend this restaurant 👌
Good food but after price increase value for money is not the same. Will not be visiting as frequently. Understand price increases but I remember it was £10 less pp for the buffet not that long ago so a large increase.
I went there twice during my visit of the city.
1st time was worst because I was not giving a free table which I asked for with no reason, I guess they didn't want to open the section as there were not too many people.
Then I was refused to have a bottomless option because I was eating alone..... #discrimination.... started not good at all... But then they hooked me to stay because they had half price off offer.
I tried many rolls, some nice some less nice.
What I didn't like, rolls seams to be not hand rolled but from a machine, they fall apart even before you deep them in soya souce.
Smoked salmon was extremely oversalted, I think it's made in house and someone dropped the ball with salt.
Original ginger and wasabi is not enough, and as it's not bottomless but order online, it's all extra charge which I think is silly as it's sushi, these items should come with every plate.
With half price off I might comeback, with full price it would not be worth at all.
More rolls variety with salmon would be my recommendation.
Not been here for a while, thought we'll give it another go as previous experience wasn't brilliant.
I was pleasantly surprised with the over all improvement!
We were greeted by a friendly member of the staff, after a short wait, we were comfortably seated. We opted for the half price A-la-carte menu, lots to choose from, boy did we order lots or what?!
It would have been quite expensive if It wasn't for the 1/2 offer!
Food came in good time and nicely presented, scrumptious to eat, no complaints there!
Our first visit here, so happy we could put our orders on paper rather than the app. It wouldn't work. We wasn't waiting long for food or drinks. Very happy we could pay cash. We enjoyed all of our food on the all you can eat menu at £25 each. apart from the tofu steaks very watery and sloppy to eat and the beef skewers were a tad tough unfortunately. The male server welcomed us and was very accommodating and friendly, he assisted with any help and our food orders. We loved the sushi so much we then ordered a sushi deluxe takeout, tad expensive but absolutely delicious. We are definitely visiting again. Thank you

The sushi was absolutely delicious, the fish was so tender and fresh that it melted in your mouth. The staff made sure that we understood the conditions of the offer and they were speedy in bringing food out despite having a full house. Although pricey, it was good value for the amount of food you got. Would definitely go again!
A little slice of heaven in Nottingham. Authentic and fresh, the food always brings a smile to my face. I think more people should try real sushi before they turn their nose up at it, and this is the place to try it. Their menu choices are amazing too and the app makes it so easy to order.
This idea of all you can eat or half price orders before the evening time is a good catch for a satisfactory meal and a wide selection of sushi. You can order from your smart phone after scanning a code that is handed to you after seating. The menu is conveniently displayed and ordering is easy and you will hardly need to interact with the staff while your order is directly delivered to your table. The quality and taste of sushi is good but not outstanding. If we consider the early hours deal and the portions served then this makes it a good place to have sushi once in a while.
Excellent meal last night. Great choice of sushi dishes and all really tasty. Service very efficient.
I've been to Sushimania a few times now but I don't know much about sushi, hosomaki, etc. as I don’t normally eat fish and have the meat or veggie options instead but I really like the quality and variety of this buffet. You have a huge selection of both hot and cold food. The app can be tricky and you don't always know how many portions you will end up with so it's good to double check before placing an order especially if there are many people all adding their own food to the order using the same device. The food comes pre-prepared from the kitchen. I obviously assume it is not made upon order because otherwise the chefs would go crazy given how crowded the restaurant can be. Food must be cooked earlier in the day and kept fresh which is better than most buffet places where the food just sits there until someone grabs a plate. I'd say to go for the all you can eat buffet though as it has a good quality/price ratio. I wouldn't pay for each individual item because of not knowing exactly when the food is made although it is good and I never felt ill afterwards. Service is good, quite impersonal because again it is extremely busy but people working there are nice.
