Since the new owners have taken over a few weeks ago, it's a totally different place. It is like it used to be years ago. The quality of the food is a massive improvement. Plus the staff are actually happy to see you and will have a laugh and joke with you.

We ordered from here last night, food arrived very hot and absolutely delicious, glad they are back open again. Would 100% recommend to try if you haven’t you won’t be disappointed
Not sure what other people were moaning about when talking about customer service, the staff were lovely. Though there was no fish ready, they quickly cooked me a fresh one - it was delicious, and as mentioned by others the size was immense. Would happily go back.

Best chip shop meal iv had for years. Don't usually have pie from a chip shop but by far the best iv ever had. Chips were spot on too! Will be going to Phil's in future 😁
