100% recommend here we booked here as the food sounded lovely when looking for a restaurant in that area we booked a few months in advance as we were attending the area for my daughters 21st... i am so glad we did the whole experience with pelgraves was a pleasure everything we mentioned was taken into account we had a lovely booth the decor was spot on romantic, comfy & quirky it caters for everyone even it also has added touches in the toilets which was so nice.
The food was absolutely gorgeous portion sizes was huge and so fresh cooked to perfection the staff and manager was so lovely if we lived local it would definitely be somewhere we would go to alot even for a drink.
We mentioned it was a birthday when we booked and they brought my daughter a pudding with sparkler and candle we never asked for this it was so lovely we was made to feel so welcome i will definitely be returning and recommending here
Fabulous food and service. We had the mussels to start and the steak sharing platter. I saw another table order the onion rings so it swayed us to get the platter. It was all delicious and portions sizes were big. The only minor thing is I wish they had a better selection of wine. None of the wine took our fancy and the cocktails were too sweet so I was left struggling to know what to order. This however, wouldn’t stop me returning as I could not fault the food. Palgraves would you please consider adding some more bottles of wine to your menu?
Went here to for a family meal for a 40th. The food is of a really good standard, theres a lot of care that goes into the dishes, the taste, presentation, service - all excellent. The staff are fantastic and the atmosphere is lovely too. Pizzas are highly recommended as well as Olivers meatballs. Thank you again
We accidentally found this place, after the hotel we were staying in told us (very last minute), their restaurant was shut for the evening. What an incredible little place, such a hidden gem! We both had pizzas, dough-licious, the best pizza both of us have ever had! We'll definitely be returning.

Reasonable prices. Good food and excellent service. The owner works hard to keep this place top notch. The staff are very efficient and always friendly. Always faultless.
Nipped in to get pizza and I think it's the best offering in the local area. Light, tasty dough, generous toppings. All clearly homemade
One pointer for improvement would be the marinara- it tasted like plain chopped tomatoes which was ok but using tomato paste, a bit of garlic, maybe some herbs and salt/sugar to zazz it up a bit would really take the pizza to the next level
The pizza there is lovely and was served very quickly. Pricing is very reasonable too and a lovely atmosphere to compliment the dining experience. Definatley would recommend. Only issue for some may be the closet car park is a small walk away.
