Met family for a meal. Food was great, service was attentive and would recommend to friends and family to come here. Added bonus for the children to be able to go and play on the play area.
Pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food, three diners ordering a real mixed bag of meals off the menu. I personally had the Black Angus fillet steak with peppercorn sauce and it was delicious. The staff were genuinely helpful and catered for our every need and when the bill came, we were very pleased in deed.
Highly recommended if you want quality food in a great atmosphere and without breaking the bank.
Absolutely lovely place to eat and very friendly, this place was recommended by a staff member at a nearby hotel who said it was one of the best around and he wasn't wrong. Couldn't fault anything, our waitress Karolina couldn't have been any more helpful. As soon as we walked through the door we were made to feel welcome. I would definitely recommend to anyone and will eat there again should I be in the area.
We called in mid afternoon while passing and were pleasantly surprised. Service at the table is so underrated. To be able to sit and be waited on is so much better. A relaxed atmosphere and good food & drink.
Just had our anniversary meal here , absolutely beautiful, can't beat the menu and quality of the food.

Ate here as part of a large group (18) people and very impressed, food was of a good standard and served very promptly given the number of people, all hot and 100% correct. Was particularly impressed with Chloe who was a delight, very helpful, and happy to deal with all the requests we each had from food to payment. Highly recommended.
Absolutely beautiful food, service and atmosphere. wish I took a picture of the starters. I had the tiger prawns and they were full of flavour. Also great prices.
Took my young lad in for a meal, everything was spot on. Staff were great, attentive and friendly, food was perfect and a nice play area out back. Will definitely be going back!
Went for a quick lunch on our way home. Decent food with a good selection of drinks. Their cutlery set definitely needs sharpening. I could barely cut my steak with the steak knife even when the waiter brought me a second knife upon complaining. Dishes need a little more garnishing, especially the burgers for which you pay over £12. We didn't find the service particularly impressive. Large parking area on site is definitely a plus!
One of the few pubs who serve good food on a Sunday evening and are dog friendly. We had a lovely evening taking our daughter out for her 20th birthday (with our dog). The very kind staff gave our daughter a gift as we left - very sweet. Thank you Nurseryman for a memorable evening.
Beautiful plentiful food. Mixed grill was cooked perfectly and along with peppercorn sauce was great. Our waitress Abbie was very polite and looked after us well. Great value and worth another trip!

Went on a date today with my partner and I put a note on the booking system as I booked a table for just the two of us. Did I know that they pulled all the stops out and made the table look so nice for us to enjoy our date, not only that but they gave us a bottle of wine which was so thoughtful of them to do that for us. You guys at the nurseryman need a pay rise you not only have made us happy but we will continue to come back each year for dates and other celebrations. Thank you so so much for that.
I just wanted to add that waitress who served us did a outstanding job, she was so polite and well mannered. Well done to you and that’s the main reason that we are coming back plus if she came back before we left I would of have her a tip but unfortunately she did not. But don’t worry I will remember your face and be able to find you so you can get that tip as you deserve it. Thank you so much guys you have made my and my partners night. Thank you so so so much 😊
Lovely dog friendly pub with a modern interior and plenty of seating. The outdoor area has recently been revamped and is a nice place to sit in summer. We were pleasantly surprised at the affordable cost of 2 alcoholic drinks, after a visit at another pub which was extautionate. Will visit next time for food as it has been a long time since I last ate at the Nurseryman. Bar staff are very polite and quick at serving customers.
Very welcoming, first class service, excellent food for the price. Will definitely use the Nurseryman more often for a nice meal for two in the week.
The staff here were so friendly and did their best to find us a table to eat at when we walked in late without booking.
The steak we had was cooked perfectly and the desserts were too. I would definitely eat here again.
The food was good, I had the fish and chips with mushy peas. I didn't realise mushy peas were so expensive you could only have a a spoonful though, whereas my brother had a ladle full of garden peas with his. Our wives meals were also both good.
The service was very good and he atmosphere was fine.
Just visited for drinks and to catch up with friends. Bar was busy but able to get a table and enjoy drinks. Drinks are reasonably priced. Large car park with ample parking. No loud music so nice atmosphere and easy to talk and catch up with people.
Came here for lunch and was more than impressed. We were seated and served quickly even though a function was on. The food was delicious, staff were very friendly. We will definitely be returning
Amazing experience! Grace was probably the nicest waitress we have had in a while- super helpful and smiley even though she was busy- fantastic! :) the food was amazing- the skewers were incredible as was the fajitas and the ultimate burger! Super reasonable and dog friendly :) will deffo come back!
Top grub, lovely staff and a great range of drinks. There were 10 of us and the service was fantastic!!! Recommend!!!!
