Very friendly guys with great work ethic and attitude. The fish and chips are lovely from here, there large fish is a monster 👍👍
Great little chip shop with eat in area. Food was really good, service fantastic and the place was completely spotless, from the dining area to the toilets. Staff couldn't have been more helpful and we will be going back.
We are staying at Stretton Lakes (lovely site for touring caravans) and decided to try The Fish Shop, had 2 x cod and chips, they were the best we have eaten for many years. When we come back we will definitely visiting them again, well done for the delicious food and friendly service.
really good fish and chips. not surprised one bit that the place was busy. it certainly deserves it's high ratings. will definitely come back next time I'm in the area and highly recommend to all my colleagues. 👍
Amazing service, first time we have used this fish and chip shop, we are caravaning at the The Lodge Trust. When I got there it looked really busy I thought I would be waiting ages.. the front of house guy was amazing, he was sooo organised and quick with all the orders… he is a credit to the shop..
Been using this chip shop for nearly 20 years and never really had a bad meal from here. Excellent customer service and food to match.
First time for a while having fish chips peas. Enjoyed the meal asked for large portions, so enough for two. Good job it's now expensive.
Fabulous service and always with a smile, food delicious and piping hot. Always worth the journey as we're not local
A great chippy, so happy it is our local 👍
Love this chippy. The fish and roe is made to order and is always cooked lovely. The staff are always friendly and, even if you haven’t been for a while, always greet you like an old friend - which, when you have a local chip shop as good as this, you treat them the same. And if you’re heading to or
Lovely fish and chips would recommend.
A fish and chip takeaway with small dining-in facility. Takeaway tea and coffee available. Customer toilet. I only had sausage, chips and a tea but it was all good. Very cheerful, welcoming service, on this, my first visit.
Accepting that it's obviously deep fried food, the fish and chips we ate last night were the best we've had for a long time. Chips and batter on the large cod were crisp and "dry" with very little of the usual oily aftertaste and well packaged. The shop was clean and the staff were friendly.
Lovely village chip shop. Very busy, Friday Eve so everything is freshly cooked. Kebabs, burgers too. Small, clean, bright, seating area. Excellent service. Only downside is that the doner meat from kebab was not really hot all through. Also not the best quality ( in my opinion.) Friends said fish c
Got home late last night just as the Chip Shop was closing. Welcomed with a smile and the usual good service. No rush at all and supper was delivered to the car so we could wait in the warmth. Thank you and best wishes are not enough but enjoy your Christmas break.
Excellent fish and chip shop in this small country village near to Rutland water. We visited having seen good reviews and were not disappointed. Service was excellent too.
The large burger meal was very good and more than ample and the chips delicious. The next day I got a large kabab meal and to me it was just not quite enough and felt it should be bigger for the money I payed. It was very nice but left me still hungry and I'm not a big lad.
Good all round, very friendly.
