What a great pub. Tucked away in the lovely village of Oakley. Conor and Briony have a great team and the food was second to none. Good sized portions and cooked to perfection by Sean. Looking forward to our next visit.
A wonderful little village pub only a stones throw from London. It’s ran by 2 brothers. The food was delicious and the landlords were very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be returning.
A really friendly, cosy pub that is dog friendly. A great place to meet family and/or friends after a dog walk. The Sunday roast beef was very tender, cooked well and vegetables perfect. Home made apple tart and custard was fab

The service and hospitality could not be more welcoming, the staff are all so lovely. The food is also amazing, everything is done to perfection and nothing is too much trouble. Can’t wait to go back!
The food ( three small plates plus one order of chunky chips) was certainly good. Although probably pointless to complain about piped music, I would have preferred not to have it right by my ear. The ideal sound for me is just the buzz of a busy restaurant. However for all I know, customers actua

Lovely little pub, friendly staff, great atmosphere, lovely ales, and delicious homemade sausage roll and biscuits
Hi there, don’t normally do this but thought I’d drop you a line complementing everyone for a lovely meal we had Sunday lunchtime. The food was banging, one off, if not THE best Sunday lunches we’ve had in a pub for many a year. The staff were fantastic, very attentive without being “in your face”
