First time here. Our group had the chicken burger, the Scottish beef ale pie and the highland chicken. All were 5 star, including the sides. The seasoning and batter on the chicken burger was unique and great. A bit peppery, which I like. The peas were fresh and crisp on 3 of the meals. The chips (fries) were crisp and not greasy.
I would highly recommend this restaurant although I was unsure when I walked in.
Great wee place, modern with an excellent selection of drinks and gins. Table of 12 of us, service was very good, most of us having 3 courses.
Seafood platter, seabass risotto (full fillet, not through the risotto like we thought) and steaks all very fresh and highly recommend. The muscles were also fantastic, only complaint with them us they came with a slice of brown bread instead of a nice big chunk of rustic crusty roll. Would also recommend them having the option to have them as a main as they were amazing!
Two couples and three dogs were made very welcome! The food was first class, with the best ingredients of the local area ( cheese, seafood). They even have a menu for dogs! We enjoyed a few drams as well- an excellent selection from all over Scotland. We made a night of it as the quiz was on, although we narrowly missed a victory it was still very enjoyable and some good banter with the quiz master.
Best fish and chips ever for only £5.95. Big range on menu at decent prices. Staff very helpful, service prompt. Clean well decorated premises. Wheelchair accessible , beer garden, and drink specials
Food was excellent, Stornaway pork is to die for!! Absolutely excellent value for money, really good atmosphere and child friendly, food staff all first class! Will definetly be back again👍

Great food. Great pint of best. Not too expensive.
Great bar, great staff, always worth a visit when in Oban
Lovely lunches and a good place for a wee booze with friends. Staff are always lovely and friendly.
Nice local pub with good service. Stopped in a bit before 6 for dinner, but didn't have reservations (on a Saturday night). We were told they were booked up, but we could come back at 8, and they could probably accommodate us then. We found dinner elsewhere, but went back for drinks and dessert. The tablet ice cream was sublime! Service was prompt and courteous. We would definitely go again!
Warm friendly welcome, dog bowl and biscuits arrived as we sat down..! this is a Real Pub experience with genuine customer service, well worth finding for a tasty treat of authentic Oban.
Great food, needed a reservation, nice atmosphere inside, but its a little expensive.
What a glorious and friendly pub! We went for lunch with our Labrador 🐕. Adam the bar man was the most attentive and friendly guy! Within minutes we had ordered drinks, this included our dog. Treats and belly rubs made the dogs day! The food was outstanding, beer and whiskey too. Definitely a highlight to our holiday! Adam and Lorne Bar... flipping fantastic! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
This is brilliant for food Debbie was very helpful and gave us a great seat lovely atmosphere would eat here again
Great atmosphere a very cozy pub with nice staff. The food was well prepared but the vegan linguine is really REALLY spicy, careful. Love the fact that there's always a cheesecake of the day. Amazing ❤️
What an unexpected gem. Food was outstanding. Service was fabulous. We spent the whole day here and had the most amazing experience. Prices were too low for the quality of food you are getting. Highly recommended!
We stopped here for lunch. The staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the menu and proud about the locally sourced produce. We had the sea food platter, "the best mussels we've eaten". Dog friendly (dog menu and refreshments) Great food, atmosphere and staff.
Delicious home made food, great service and a good range of beers and wine. 100% reccomend
We visited in January. We were late six guests so we had opportunity to pick up 6 from 7 left meals: 5 fish and chips and one burger. They were great. However, I would like to encourage kitchens to frozen at least something from variety of sea food you get during the winter. It will be not fresh, but local. During low season it would be more than enough for travellers which you still get, I am sure of that. Oh and month whisky - Loch Lomond were super tasty.
