Clean and welcoming with a friendly atmosphere. A nice selection of food and drinks at reasonable prices. There's a pool table in very good condition, plenty of outside seating and a sheltered area for smokers.

Superb meal - would recommend - I had the Scampi and Arthur had all day breakfast - could not fault anything - especially for the price, here is a photo of their Sunday lunch - 2 for £11:49

Came in tonight with my husband for food, the food was exceptional and in the short time we were there we noticed staff singing and raising money for McMillan a charity close to that pubs heart. Annabelle and carol definitely give the warm welcome you always need in your regular pub. Would definitely recommend to family and friends and pay another visit.

Great food & facilities. My husband is blind but there is a great choice of finger food for him & they will always try & cater for his needs. We love how inclusive it makes us feel. 5 stars from us!

The reason I spent so much was because I was drinking, had a woman named Laura serve me tonight! She’s definitely one of the best along with Danielle! They are super friendly and make the experience so much better never moan when we ask for cocktails too! Glad you are playing better music and not just 60’s music lol we had a right good night

I've not been for a while but I do go in here I have no problems about anything. I've heard it may be closing along with the old rectory. I prefer iether of these places to the strawbery Gardens.

come here for food with my family often, it’s always exactly what we ordered and more the service especially from carol, annabelle is second to none will definitely be re visiting x

Greene King are about to close this pub down from Nov 24th 2023, why ? Its the only pub in miles and it's a thriving community pub, busy and welcoming

I live 45mins walk away for the GOLDEN HIND but chose to make this my local ahead of any pub along the way. Can't give enough PRAISE to the WARMTH and GENEROSITY of Danny and the team. They make you feel so welcome Myself, The Kids and The Dog (Water and Dog Biscuits F.O.C) Food EXCELLENT always hot and fresh without delay. Beer isn't bad either. GREAT value for money!! Highly recommended.

Fabulous new menu I had the katsu chicken curry cook to perfection we also had a build your own burger which were delicious.Great staff especially stephanie who gave a warm welcome but all the staff were great so big shout out to Michelle, Ellen,Emma,Danielle and all the rest of the staff THERE IS ALSO A BRAND NEW CHEF Will go there again

Greenking you can't close this pub it's the local pub for us offerton lot made many friends and had lots of good nights in this place was gutted when we found out it's all over end of next month sad times for offerton

Went in for a party with around 20 of us. Amazing food and great atmosphere. The staff here were well presented and were very nice. We were served in a timely manner and appriciate being served as a party. Thank you so much for a great experiences will deffo be back x

Went in yesterday about 3.30pm to be served by a gentleman behind the bar who obviously didn’t want to be there. To be told there was no chicken left when we asked what was available was told anything else. Certainly won’t be going here again. I think your staff need some customer service training

Was ok until we went to order food at 8:25pm to be told that the kitchen was closed , wasn't impressed considering they are supposed to serve till 9, normally everything is ok there , the food when u can get it is nice

Can't understand how this place gets 1 star! Must be a very rare occasion. Food very nice, beer great & plenty of screens to watch the footy.

Called in on Monday the 7th of may with family for our dinner . Meal and service exceptional well done guys will be calling again thank you.

Legit sat here waiting for our pudding for 45 minutes now and still no sign of them �. Ordered a cup of tea with our starters and other drinks and it finally arrived with our main courses. Starter was cold. Disgusting! Never again!
