We are not from Oklahoma City and this is the first time we've ever went to Sam's Southern Eatery. We were pleasantly pleased with the size of the catfish pieces and the kindness of the young lady at the register. I had the four piece fish with two sides meal and the four pieces filled me up and then some. The catfish was delicious. My wife enjoyed the fried green tomatoes. The fried okra was fresh and crunchy on the outside, as it should be. The creamy coleslaw was delicious and had the right texture without being too wet.
Sadly this location looks like a struggling establishment and there is external deterioration on the walk and steps around the restaurant. Also the baseboard all around interior walls is missing. We were there between 5:00 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. in a Monday and there were only four customers that whole time. I think they are struggling with the location they are in as well.
I wish them luck because they really do have a good product with a very flexible menu.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere & especially the fish & shrimp combo w/ okra & red beans & rice. Alejandra was very professional & courteous. I will definitely be coming back to knock a few more items off the menu which I'm sure I will enjoy.

Love the crew! Good food and people! The lady always remembers my name ( I go often) & she always has my extra sauce and silverware in my Togo order. Guy at night is nice also. Food is always fast & fresh. Consistent flavor & quality! My favorite pickup lunch spot for sure. And has a convenient drive thru. 💜😋🙂

This place is very good. The food was delicious!! The fish is so good and clean tasting. And the shrimp and fried green tomatoes are also excellent..... The staff is very friendly and courteous....... I would recommend this place anytime.

At Sam’s I got the Fish with 6 Shrimp meal, it came with two sides, but the drinks are sold separately. I thought the food was fantastic, freshly made and not too pricy. My total was around $14 and I have leftovers for tomorrow. I recommend this place to anyone who enjoys some good southern seafood. The only critique I have for the place is cleanliness, the staff should focus a little more on keeping the tables, chairs, and floor a bit less crumb filled. Overall, I really enjoyed my food and plan to go back soon.

ordered through post mates and loved my burger! super juicy and great balance of flavor. I am not a seafood person but they had burgers and could deliver fast. Was not disappointed with the fast delivery with good quality food, as the is rarely the case with other places! Fries were amazing!! first time eating from here, will definitely try it again!

Excellent fish and shrimp platters. La Baguette deserts. Unique tarter sauce. Lots of seating and comfortable atmosphere. Reasonable prices and large portions.
