Cote de beuf steak tasted alright but for me it was all about the beef barrel steak, juicy, succulent and packed full of flavour. Definitely one of the best steaks I've ever tasted. 👌💯🔥🔥🔥

I don't put five stars because there is always room for perfection. The food was tasty , Juicy and fresh! The peppercorn gravey was very rich. Service was great specially a fine lady named Cortney ! Also the shop owner is always watching over everybody which makes the costumer feel very important, Cortney she was keen on getting our order as we asked for and was very sweet The food display looked elegant and the restaurant was very clean smelling nice they have great ventilation system. Because I'm a niqabi I also enjoyed a very private seat last table on right side ! I life my niqab and ate without any complication of being seen.

Chef (Qamar) and Bisma really stand out with their people skills. It was a pleasure to dine there. It:s a very a nice restaurant with good food and friendly staff. If you want a proper steak this is where you come to, as this beats many steakhouses out there.

If you love your steaks then this place is highly recommended. Steaks are cooked perfectly, juicy and delicious. Sides don't disappoint either (no frozen veg out of a supermarket bag here). It's not one of those places where you won't be able to tell what cut of meat you're eating. If you know your steaks you'll be able to clearly differentiate between the various cuts, which is a credit to the place. The owner is a chef himself and very knowledgeable about steaks. Was a pleasure chatting to him, very chilled out nice guy. Humble enough to discuss at length anything about the food and welcomes feedback. Atmosphere nice. Excellent service from the waiting staff.

I love this place so much and I think it's by far the best steak lounge in Manchester and I've tried other places in London, Liverpool and even abroad as well because I am a huge steakaholic but this place is the best for me honestly.
All staff members are friendly.

Went for my birthday with my partner and had a wonderful time!
Starters we had the nachos and dynamite chicken, both where brilliant, I would definitely get the dynamite chicken again.
For mains we both had the barrel steak with veg and mash and the steak was amazing, seasoned to perfection, ordered a peppercorn sauce but absolutely didn't need it!
Wait staff where nice and friendly.

By far the Best steak place in Greater Manchester.
We ordered 2 beef Barrels and a full chicken. We were served by the owner who was a very nice person and guided us with what would be the best items for us to eat.
The food was absolutely amazing and tasty, the steak was cooked exactly as asked and all the food came out at the perfect temperature.
I will definitely be back!

Service was amazing from most the staff except a few. One of the members who i applaud is furqaan did a brilliant job for us when we ate here last year. We ordered steaks and a few bits here and there. The food was amazing although one of the steaks felt a bit undercooked. However on the upside the ambience and atmosphere of this place was amazing and the decor was brilliant. We were treated to a nice welcome from one of the Male staff who guided us to our table. Overall the food was amazing the service was best at most times and the atmosphere was amazing. Free parking is available and i dont think there are any other method of transport other than bus and walking.

Alhamdohlillah came again for iftari reserved via the website prior no issue got here alityle later then booked but gaffer sorted us out excellent service and the main thing the guest i came with really enjoyed the food and had no issue with food and service well done Team Zarak's once again 5* for food and service.

Visited on 6th september with my partner. We had an amazing time. The place was beautifully decorated and the owner helped us park and suggested some food for us. He was also a good laugh. Food was delivered quickly by friendly servers. The steak is absolutely amazing. So much flavour. One of the BEST stakes I’ve ever had. And my boyfriend LOVED his burger. Cooked to perfection.
Will be coming back again very soon!

I attended Zaraks Grill Lounge with my Mrs on the Sunday the 12th of June 2022 around 18:30.
We were greeted by manager (could be owner) who asked if we had booked or not, he was very nice and got us seated immediately and brought of 2 menus, shortly after a lady came over to ask if we were ready to order (she was very polite) and answered some questions I posed about the food we would order.
We ordered:
1 x Garlic Chicken Bread
1 x Cheese Pepper Fries
1 x Sirloin Steak (10oz) Medium cooked with Chips (also with peppercorn sauce and cheese on the steak but these you have to pay for extra this)
1 x Melted Cheesy Chicken
3 x Bottled drinks (2 x J20 Apple Mango and Diet Coke)
Total = 54.90
Food took around 20-25 minutes but it was quiet at the time so I can’t comment on busy periods, I really like the way front of house of the restaurant is, there is like a selfie spot area if you into that kind of thing, Alhamdulilah the food was amazing honestly when I saw my steak, I was doubtful about the portion size after finishing it I was full also tasting it, this was one of the best steaks I have eaten, my Mrs Chicken steak was great as well shoe loved it, the garlic chick bread and cheese pepper fries were great as started also, it is tad expensive (but then again it is high end restaurant it is expected) but it is soooo worth it. I did also notice it was getting really busy by the time we left so must be a good place to eat.
As we were leaving the manager (could be the owner) was conversating with us asking if the food was good or if we had any complaints, he was happy for me to take pictures of the establishment for social media, also would like give a shout out to the ladies on front they are doing an amazing job at Zaraks.
I believe you can park in the front of the premises but be careful if you have a lowered car as there is steep decent when exiting the front of the business, you can also park Exchange Street after 6pm (as the near by businesses close around then), I parked on Gravel Walks to not get hassled.
The downside I can think of music is explicit so if you go with family (children or elders) it is not nice environment to hear but I guess you could ask the manager to turn if off on site or change the music non explicit (I think he would be happy to honour this request). Another one (this is be being very picky sorry) is a little tad expensive on certain item such as drinks and charging extra for peppercorn sauce with the steak it should come with it BUT there is BIG BUT the steak is really amazing I would 100% recommend this place a visit I do hope to visit again with my friend’s next time.
If you are after an amazing steak this place is 5 stars!

An amazing dining experience! From start to finish. A friendly receptionist on the phone who booked us in on a steady Saturday. We travelled around 40 miles to get there and it was worth the journey. Please note sat nav will take you on the main road so be on the lookout for the parking either before you turn in left. There is ample parking outside the premises and Europcar next door. It is a lovely restaurant with a relaxing ambiance. Open kitchen is a nice touch. Ample seating inside the restaurant. We were seated promptly and spoken to within minutes. Took the owners recommendation and it was fantastic. We ordered the Super Tender Beef Short Rib and Pan Seared Lamb Rump. I had the beef and I can honestly say it was probably the best beef I have had a steak house and I have travelled to a lot of places throughout the country! The beef was melting off the bone and flavour profile was to die for. The lamb was also sublime. A great dining experience, portions were right, price was good and wait time was good also. Would highly recommend to anyone. I almost forgot about the mocktail, the frozen moments…Brilliant! Great recommendation by the owner, thank you very much. Will be dining again!

We came to Manchester for the weekend from Surrey and planned lots of food stops for our trip. Zaraks was not one of them, instead we found it locally when searching Google.
And of all the places we had planned on our break, this was by far the best. In fact, it was the best meal we had in a long time.
We booked late in the afternoon and didn't arrive until half 8ish. Unfortunately a couple of cuts of beef weren't available, but we fully put this down to the fact the ingredients are all fresh and it was full with people enjoying their meals.
We both had ribeye steaks. My partner had chips, and I had mash with mine. We also had the spicey corn on the cobs.
And wow!!!! The best steaks we have ever had. We have racked our brains and tried to remember if we have had better. But we haven't. It was so perfectly cooked and the steak was like butter. The flavour was just delicious too.
I would drive the 6 hour journey again just to come and eat here.
Also they have delicious mocktails! And the team who work there are all so friendly and helpful. Thanks so much for having us! See you real soon I hope

Great environment, lovely staff and amazing food - genuinely - and I’ve eaten steak at quite a few higher end halal steak places like Cona, Rump n Ribs, Rosso, Avalanche, Evelyn’s etc. This place is really up there in terms of food quality. Easily one of the best halal food places in Greater Manchester!

Went with my husband today, Was an amazing experience. Food was cooked to perfection. Will definitely recommend it to all friends. Lovely atmosphere wasnt too busy food was delicious would reccommend and defo would go there again, staff was friendly kept asking if everythings ok and polite.
