We came for a midweek lunch to celebrate a birthday. Had a cracking meal. Staff were incredibly friendly and chatted to us and the food was delicious. I had the fried chicken rice bowl which was really good if a bit spicy. Roast and fish and chips also looked great. We brought a birthday cake and they provided us with knife and plates.

Always love it here, I had the American burger and it was delicious, quite sloppy but that's what I was expecting with pulled pork. Melty cheese was yummy. Chips good. Onion rings good. The staff are always lovely and very welcoming. After dinner mints are great

This place is very welcoming and family environment for anyone to enjoy. It’s more country lane, rather than town thing where everyone goes to.
I had food over there and their food tasted great, expensive although and nice drinks.

Not been here for a few years but it was worth the wait!
Bubble and squeak starter was amazing and should be added to the menu and I had the best rag pudding in a long time.
This will be a regular of ours from now on 😁

We came to eat at 4:45pm on a Saturday. We ate from the new menu and had the braised lamb shoulder rag pudding and the salt and pepper king prawn rice bowl as well as the kids sausage and mash. It was absolutely delicious, all meals were fresh, piping hot and very very tasty! We shared the chocolate tart for dessert (our son had the brownie) and again everything was delicious. We have already made a vow to make sure we come back monthly as we always enjoy the food (the salt and pepper fries are always spot on!)

Brought my mum here for a nice pub lunch on our half term. We was greater by friendly staff and a warm/happy atmosphere as we arrived. The food is next level as always. It really does put other pubs to shame. Thank you for a lovely evening Puckersley❤️

Great place to eat, the food was excellent. Especially the mint choc chip sundae ice cream for dessert. Service was very good. Both Lydia and Claire were welcoming and kind. Very happy with my visit to The Puckersley Inn

Fantastic food. Five of us ate, all had different choices, and everyone of us very happy. Staff were very friendly and provided great service. We’ll definitely be returning.

The best meal we’ve had at The Puck.
Rag pud and Cottage Pie, spot on. The root veg was something else.
Then a great Cheesecake to finish off as well.
Top service, very friendly servers, Gabi and Grace.
Great playlist as well, some decent music, it was like listening to my own choices!!!
My wife asked to mention the lovely barmaid in the crochet cardigan who told her all about it being handmade.

Coming here for some Thursday teatime grub was a great spontaneous decision.
Chose the Northern Burger which was gorgeous. Leanna’s service (our waitress) was up there with one of the best I’ve ever experienced.
First welcoming us with open arms, then finding the time to come and have a chat, making sure our whole experience was no less than perfect.
10/10 all round, will certainly be back again!
