First time in here and food was perfect top place top staff top food
Been gong for more years than I care to remember . On my last visit with 14 family members all commented on the quality of the food, how great it tasted and we had excellent service. Staff very good and helpful. Great place would recommend it to anyone.

Come here often as it's round the corner and I always get the 5 course meal for £10 (only downside for me is the ice cream because I'm lactose intolerent�) but it's sooo worth the money and trust me you don't want to eat for hours before orelse you will not get through the starters and on to your main. I'm not a huge fan of Indian and I don't go anywhere else, this is the only place I'll eat it! Always have a tikka masala and take it home in a doggy bag for my dad if I don't eat it all� Love it x
Went last night for my 60th birthday meal .Great service and the food was very very good hot and nothing was to much trouble for any of the staff would deffenetly go again and tell all my friends to go ...Thank you for a great night xxx
I've been coming here for well over ten years, with family, friends and colleagues. I've never had a duff meal yet and the special thawa is legendary. It's not the most glamorous restaurant, but the food is always exceptional.

My daugher is going to universty next saturday and i i wanted somehere for all the family to celebrate with her before she went and another member of thefamily suggested there it was the best idea that mydughte and i made as there was plenty of food the food was lovely and the staff where friendly i would definetlyreccomend this place

Westwood east restaurant is a top rated restaurant in the north-west of england because of their food quality and world class service and the well explained and well organised staff. Anyone who would like a top Indian food experience I recommend you come here. The main staff members who stood out to me were Mr Jamal Uddin and Mr Ridwan who both helped me out during my experience here. Following facilities are available, plenty of free car parking, a meeting and conference room available, small and big party advance booking available. Oldham Town Centre within walking distance. Westwood tram station nearby. Manchester airport within 20/25 minute drive.
Great as always. Food and staff are lovely. Owner always pops over to say hello and make sure everything is OK.

This restaurant is excellent , their food quality is deserving of 5 stars, especially the stir fry and lamb kharai. This food is very delicious and the customer service is fantastic , they have a great location , plenty of free parking available, 10 minute walk from Oldham town centre and 20 minute drive from Manchester airport. It’s the best restaurant I have every ate from in my entire life, it’s perfect!

Reading some of these 1star reviews, I believe they are from rival eateries trying to mar this business so they’ll lose customers and some are reviewing the completely wrong restaurant.
We were here tonight 8 of us (4 adults, 4 children) ( This is our 4th visit ) We were warmly greeted and shown to our table by a lovely member of waiting on staff.
We were asked if we would like some drinks, they were served promptly by a lovely member of waiting on staff.
Our order was taken around 10 minutes after sitting down and was served within around 30 minutes by a lovely member of waiting on staff.
All the food was of an excellent quality, presented beautifully and by really lovely members of waiting on staff.
We were welcomed, seated, served with drinks and food and had a really lovely (nearly) couple of hours and would highly recommend visiting.
In regards to the negative reviews, Put it this way, when we arrived at 5pm (it opens at 5pm) there were only us and 4 other people seated, when we left at around 6.45pm, IT WAS PACKED !!! Food and service can’t be that bad can it !! 🙄😏

Been many times, always great food and service, at a good price. Can take your own alcohol, so save with that too! Now in lockdown have had takeaways (via Uber Eats) and have always had great meals.
Been going to the Westwood for nearly 20 years now, so I think it’s fair to say my review is not simply based on a single visit. Absolutely love this place, the food, the staff, the friendly welcome we receive as friends rather than simply clients. This year my grown up kids, who are now spread around the country, are devastated that we have not arranged the yearly family get together, mainly I think because they are missing out on the Westwood curry! I’m still fortunate enough to go on a pretty regular basis 😊. Would 100% recommend a visit, you may also be writing a similar review in 20 years time!
Westwood East is a fantastic example of Bangladeshi cuisine. The fish pakora is light and flavoursome, the lamb chops are tender and buttery. The venue can cater for large groups and can easily accommodate weddings or large family groups. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and will advise you on the best food to suit your personal tastes.
First time here, I enjoyed myself very much will go back again. Went for my 32nd birthday with family and we enjoyed it there, had a good laugh with each other and the staff. The place is amazing, very clean and eye catching. The staff are very nice, friendly and can have a laugh with them. The food is very rich and delicious, you will enjoy every bite and the drinks are refreshing. Highly recommended. Give them a try!

Don't knock it until you've tried it yourself. Went there recently with work and we were well looked after. Food was on point, service was fantastic. The owner himself kept checking to make sure we were being taken care of. I do recommend this place especially for team nights out. 👌
