Everything under a pound or a half and the taste is decent. I loved the triple chocolate cookie and donuts

I was in this store Saturday 17th, I bought a pack of blackcurrant pies, a pack of strawberry tarts and a pack of vanila slices. I was very happy with the staff and the shop. The young lady on the tills mentioned that the tarts and slices had gone up, to make me aware, she was very polite and friendly. I got the pies and cakes for after our Sunday dinner and we were far from disapointed with them, if anything we were delighted, they were really good, even the day after we bought them the strawberry tarts were still just as fresh, my husband loved it and the blackcurrant pie. I had a slices and it was the best I had had in a long while, all were much nicers than a well known place I could mention that my husband had got a few months ago even eaten on the same day of purchase. We will never go anywhere else but the Poundbakery again. Thank you.

It's good value for money. There's genuinely not much more to say than that. Shop is tidy, clean and well maintained. The staff is organised and know what it's doing. There's surprisingly good variety for a budget bakery.

A regular pitstop for Council and FCHO grounds teams particularly now it's about to stop raining and start snowing!
Great food at an unbeatable price and the only thing warmer than the pies is the welcome from the team!

Good location with lots of foot-fall and busy, so good turnover of tasty vittles. My chicken pasty was almost perfect; not too hot in the middle with lovely, chewy pastry and the filling with a nice hint of pepper in there. Staff very pleasant.
