This is my go-to-place for me and hubby on our date night. It's local, friendly, and the food is very very good!! Drinks by Marvin the bartender are exceptional! Love his personality, courtesy, professionalism, humor, and always-happy attitude!! Can't wait to go back next week!!

I was not sure what to expect at this location because the 2 other "Turtles" I have been to (DC & Fells Point) sucked, maybe a reason why they are both closed now. This Turtle is clean, has very friendly staff, and really good food. My wife and I enjoy the Cobb salad, fish & chips, brussels sprouts, sliders, loaded tots, and the rockfish bites. We have not been huge fans of the spinach dip or the Crabby melt, but not everything is going to hit home for everyone; and nothing was wrong with these items, just not for us and would not order them again. The service has always been fantastic, we usually sit at the bar, with staff being friendly and attentive. One ding on Food because I count beer as food, the tap system has a lot of issues, not sure if the keg box isn't cold enough or if it is just an old system, but the beer has been really foamy sometimes and a few times over the last few months the Guinness tap has not been working. Keep in mind, this is a sports bar atmosphere, so TVs are on and the place is pretty bright, but as I said, public areas are kept clean. They also seem accommodating to families with children as there is a large dining room section.

I went there Sunday night 11/12 after a rough day at work. The bartender, Michael, was fantastic. He kept the drinks and food coming. Before this visit I would not have considered this my go-to bar, but I am going to make it my new spot. The service is great. Prices are very reasonable. The staff are amazing. Highly recommend it. Plus, the late night hours are the best around.

Dani is one of best bartenders here and she is very attentive, helpful and customer friendly. I’d definitely come back to visit her. I must mention though the kitchen must replace the buffalo chicken dip with another food item. Thx Dani 💯 percent best customer service.

The service is mostly very good when dining in-house. The food is OK. This is a great Happy Hour place and there are decently priced food and drink Happy Hour specials. It's like most Greene Turtles...a neighborhood bar and restaurant where you may see someone you know. They have a trivia night, too, and occasionally live music.

Good sports bar. The staff are very helpful; willing to put the game we wanted to watch on a TV near our table.

Great location, great hours, really solid stuff! Not a lot of choices in the area after 9:00, so greene turtle being open until midnight is a game changer. It's great to have a place to go after softball and Olney Manor recreational park. And man is the wait staff on top of things! Like 90 minutes from close, and they were still asking great questions about dietary restrictions, sensitivities, allergies, and were super attentive in refilling our drinks. Yeah, it might be one of those chain places, but it's nice and familiar and super happy to have it here...

05-27-2023 Returned here after 3 years and pleasantly surprised that the managers have brought back plastic straws!!! Thank you!!! This is much appreciated!!! Burger was delicious just like last time. Service was awesome just as before. 5 stars ⭐ Would like to see diet coke or diet rt beer added to the drink selection as I don't like diet Pepsi. Otherwise it was a great experience today! End of update...... ........................... Service was fast and friendly. Prices are good. Hamburger and fries were tasty. I liked the flame broiled flavor of the burger a lot. It has the taste of a nice outdoor bbq burger. The raspberry tea was unfortunately unflavorful. That tasted like light sugar water with a little hint of tea and soggy, old raspberries. It would be better to just offer Joe's brand raspberry tea or lemon tea. Joe's has an amazing full brewed flavor with the perfect balance of sweet, tea and raspberry. One side note, several google maps commentors below me here have complained about the paper straws. I must 100% agree with them. Paper straws are terrible. There is more plastic used in one of your dipping sauce cups than in 10 plastic straws. But more to the point, paper straws are weak, break and bend at the slightest touch or sip and also get soggy after a few mins. If you are eco or social media conscious about modern trends like stopping plastic straws.. then offer plant based straws like McDonalds does. Those straws are eco friendly and decompose naturally, yet they are strong enough to last an entire meal. And I have another suggestion.. it would be entirely possible to collect all used straws after a customer leaves and send them all to a straw recycling facility. Your servers are the ones who clean the tables, so the customers have zero access to throw a straw in the trash. This would be a seamless way to be eco friendly with plastic straws or McDonalds style plant based straws.
