Olney Bagel Bakery

I want to acknowledge not only the great food but most importantly the kindness and care of the owner. I since working in the area have been going for the delicious bagels. Yesterday morning I went in to get my breakfast and I noticed an older women just sitting looking at the morning rush. She looked like she needed someone to show her a kindness, so I went up to her and asked her if I could treat her. When I got back to the counter to put her order, the manager asked if what I was getting was for her. Without hesitation he said he would cover her meal and drink. I tried to refuse and wanted to still support his business even more because of that. I still got a drink for the sweet lady though and will definitely be frequenting even more now. The first time I visited they had forgotten to put in my cream cheese because I had quite the big order, but he quickly corrected it and threw in two yummy donuts. This care for your customers is not often seen. This is truly a great place with a wonderful owner and staff. If you were ever considering trying Royal Bagel Bakery in Olney definitely don’t walk, run ! 😊

I really love this place, even with Jersey Mike's next door, I still opt to go here for their hot roast beef sandwich. I can't count how many times I've ordered it. I also love their Everything bagels as they have the seasoning top and bottom. The sausage, egg and cheese croissant sandwich is what you expect. Their strawberry and lemon cakes are delicious (moist, light, not overly sweet) and also their strawberry cheesecake. My only (weird) complaint would be their eclairs. They are TOO big! The choux pastry ends up being a bit chewy and the ratio of the chocolate ganache on top is too much and overpowers the eclair.
