Absolutely love this place. Have been a fair few times now and every-time I love it, the staff has always been fab, the afternoon tea is so great and has plenty of options. It is a small place but we’ve never had much struggle getting a table. I highly recommend this cafe!
What a little gem! It was busy but they found us a table quickly. Staff are attentive and nothing too much trouble. We both had the simple afternoon tea which is a sandwich with salad/crisps and a scone with jam/clotted cream plus a drink. We asked for our sandwiches to be toasted and it was no trouble. Absolutely delicious - especially the warm scones! All served on a lovely cake stand. Both of us managed three cups of tea each from our teapots - all for £10 each! Will definitely visit again. The only point I'd make is the chairs need cushions on as they were a bit uncomfortable - but it won't stop us returning very soon. 😍
Visited today with family, absolutely lovely. Staff were cheerful, friendly, and very accommodating.
Food is very fairly priced by todays standards, and the kitchen knows how to cook proper poached egg (not something that should be a rarity today, but here we are).
Fry up was delicious. Big helping of tea. We drove about 25 minutes to visit and would do so again.
This lovely tearoom was recommended by a friend, I decided to book it for my sister's birthday. We both loved it, the staff were very helpful and attentive. Would definitely go there again.
I've visited Teapots a few times this year, I've also recommended it to friends. I always order the small afternoon tea comprising of a sandwich, crisps, salad a warm scone with jam and cream and a pot of tea the food is fresh and delicious. I love this little gem.
Returned with husband for another toasted cheese sandwich as last week’s was so delicious! We both had the Simple Afternoon Tea which includes sandwich of your choice, freshly baked scone, clotted cream and jam and a drink of your choice. We had to pay slightly more for the sandwich being toasted (worth it).
Loose-leaf Earl Grey tea was great, melt in the mouth scone to die for and friendly quick service. This small family business deserves supporting for its excellent quality of food and drink, it’s welcoming, efficient service and excellent setting. They really can’t do enough for you - including serving half a slice of cake to those watching their waistline unable to resist the home-baked cakes!
Lovely friendly staff. Clean and airy room. We ordered 4 simple afternoon teas, we had a choice of sandwiches and drinks, then huge, warm scones with jam and fresh cream. Everything was delicious. I will definitely return to this wonderful tearoom
Superb. Exception service and attention to customers. Great choice and lovely food. The only cafe I’ve ever been in where ‘bathroom’ means just that. We called in here by chance and we’re not disappointed. Access may be a challenge in some circumstances. We loved its old world charm and will be back.
A beautiful tea room with a vintage feel. The owners are attentive without being intrusive and the food is beautiful. The afternoon tea does need to be pre-booked as it is all made fresh; the scones were still warm from the oven! Highly recommended and we will definitely be returning.
Today me and mum mum visited Teapots. The vintage decor was very atmospheric and charming. We had the afternoon tea which came quickly, presented beautifully and definitely filled us up! Would recommend to everyone! Thank you so much for brightening our day!
