Love this place. Batter is crispy and perfect. Food is delicious and staff are great.

Brilliant food and quick to come out.

Salad is absolutely fresh and the mayo was of good quality, the spicy chicken burger I had was to die for. The area inside so spacious with clear directions for the takeaway and dining in places. Outdoor dining area too. You could tell cleanliness is a very high priority, there was a staff member cleaning the dining furniture right down to under the chair legs. Everything, all surfaces were pristine. The service from all the staff was so pleasant. I will only be going there now for a chippy in the Isle of Man.

Love this place, although a little bit cold in the seating area. Just wrap up if going on a cold day! Cannot beat the food though.

Sat in for two cod and chips meals with a nice pot of tea. Food was fresh and delicious, staff were friendly and efficient and the premises were spotlessly clean.

I can't think I have ever eaten nicer fish and chips. Chips like they used to be and fish with a batter so light and fish with large flakes, a real treat. Pleasant staff, now that's a rarity. I can definitely recommend them. We will definitely be back.

Went here as you offer gluten free options, I telephoned my order through and was not disappointed when I collected it. I had a regular fish chips and peas, nice thin crispy batter just the way I like it and good portion size too, was served by friendly and helpful staff overall experience fab

This chippy used to be excellent but the quality is continually slipping which is a shame as it was the best chippy on the island at one point. I just had cod and chips and the fish was 2 tail ends over fried and it was like eating burnt chewing gum. It has been like this the last few times I have been. Hoping they will improve the quality !!

This is probably the best chippie on the island. Amazing gluten free menu with a separate fryer, great choice, friendly service and wonderful sit-in.

Being a Yorkshire Lass I know my fish and chips. I came here this evening for a "Chippy tea" and I have to say I was very impressed. The fish was to die for, pure white flakes in a light crisp batter and perfectly cooked chips which was served with just the right amount of mushy peas. All was washed down with a pot of Yorkshire tea.....Who could want for more

I live 2 minutes from 2 chip shop.. the food they sell is sloppy and the chips white. We get in the car and go to fryers..simply because the chips are well cooked.. and as for the whopper cod. Tasty . Well cooked and lovely.. well worth the trip up..thx guys.

Was in last week for a takeaway when it was very busy, even though you had a long queue standards were still amazing, I loved I could get a mini fish as I can never eat a whole one. Today I came with my friend and sat in, lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff, food was great and it was nice we could get a late lunch somewhere and take our time x thank you.

I like the way you can go into Douglas and complete your reasons for going there. Most of the cafes are greasy spoons and pubs stop serving food by approximately 2.30 pm. But it's great I can drop into Fryers on the way back to Laxey knowing that Onchans fantastic chippy is always open. Great traditional food and service.

Absolutely amazing! Myself and the kids love eating in here, the staff is friendly and the food is amazing. I could eat here everyday if my wallet and waistline could afford it ☺️ The fish batter is crispy, not at all greasy and chips are cooked to perfection. By far my favourite chippy, I only wished you were opened later as I work most evenings

Having been very regular (2 or 3 times a week, often with family), very disappointed to go as a couple this evening, our meal has gone up by 36+%. Seems they won't be on our list so much now. A lot of folk sat near us were very disgruntled and two tables also felt the quality was not as good as few weeks ago (see also prior verification). A huge shame as we had been billing this way over and above other chippies, but it will soon be just another also ran.
