Great fish and chips cooked the traditional way in beef dripping. Well tucked away but gets extremely busy at times which is testament to the food on offer.
I paid £6.50 for a generous portion of haddock and chips and added mushy peas for just £1.
Also get scraps - or bits as they call them in thes
Very disappointed. Second time in a row that the oil on the fish batter tastes like it should have been changed. The actual fish tasted lovely. Sadly the lady fryer can only be described as ignorant in the way she talks to people and clearly needs to go on a customer service course. I felt sorry for

Came here for the first time tonight after reading reviews on it. I cannot fault the food it was absolutely lovely. Phoned through to place an order for delivery which is a brilliant idea for a chippy ,it was busy, due I think to it being national fish and chip day,delivery was bang on time,and beautiful fish and chips,will definitely use again👍

I had been to look at some abandoned trains and thought that I would call for fish and chips. The shop was about to close but the nice lady cooked us a fish. We sat outside on in the sun. The fish and chips were lovely, will definitely call about if I am in the local area.
Just had two specials and chips delivered by a lovely polite man ,the portions were of good size very tasty will definitely be ordering again .
