Excellent fish and chip shop !, prices are very reasonable even after price increases at other fish and chip shops they still seem to be very reasonable. Having ordered fish butties , battered sausage ,spam fritters and Scollops from here all good has been cooked well and has been fresh. Fish butty
Had great takeaway fish and chips from here. It's not a regular place for me, but was passing by at break time and it's reputation precedes it for great fish and chips, so gave it a try. Didn't disappoint.

Only the stars for atmosphere - it's a chippy, you queue for your takeaway fish and chips! It's popular, so it's all freshly cooked.
Stopped on our way home from Berwick, left the motorway, and were looking for a pub. Saw the Barracuda Fishery and thought, "Why not?' Glad we did, v nice lightly battered fish and proper chips. Highly recommended.

Lunchtime treat of fish butty and chips with curry sauce, top quality and freshly made.. staff are quick and efficient and it gets busy.. roadside parking or picnic tables/benches are provided and are clean..
Massive portion of chips, well cooked not soggy. Fish a little small so would order a special next time. Good portion size for the fish bites. Great choice of drinks, nice to sit in the sunshine in the seating area. Can pay by card, will definitely go back
