Staying locally . Lovely find excellent service food and drink. Happened to mention we would be back tomorrow for a birthday meal and were delighted to find this! Thoroughly recommended
Went for Sunday lunch. The beef was excellent and I had so much I shared it with the dog when we got home. This is a dog friendly pub ( ours isn’t pub friendly so he stayed in the car) Two cask ales on. Wainwrights was excellent.
Lovely pub, very welcoming. Food was spot on all homemade with plenty of choice ,including vegetarian and gluten free options. Christine is a lovely lady, very welcoming.
Nice enough food, only dropped in as passing through. Dog friendly, nice polite staff, portion sizes good for a lunchtime quick meal.
