We were staying locally for the night and called in for some tea. The staff were so friendly and welcoming! We both had mains and puddings, and the food was amazing. Great service and great food, couldn't ask for anything more.

Lunch with family. Fabulous place never been here before. Menu maybe small, but the standard & quality are exceptional. The sirloin steak was really good, cooked to how you like served with homemade chips salad, coleslaw, grilled tomatoes & peppercorn sauce. The gammon was fantastic came with chips also pineapple 2 fried eggs, mushrooms, coleslaw & salad. Our host John had a jacket potato with cheese & bacon, also it had salad & coleslaw & few crisps on the side. Staff are great, checked we had everything we needed. Desserts: cheesecake with cream or ice cream, waffles with biscoff with cream or ice cream apple crumble with custard or ice cream. The whole place is really clean and inviting. We will be back.

Fantastic village pub, welcoming, great staff and service. Had a great night Wednesday last week, menu is great and we'll priced. Had a steak and mixed grill and I can safely say it was the best pub meal we have had in years. The complimentary shots afterwards were brilliant, try the sherry trifle one, amazing. Thank to all the staff for a great night. A proper pub, done really well. We will be back soon, if your in the area, try this gem!!!!

The Land lady was very friendly and welcoming. She accommodated us with our dog for Sunday lunch even after they had just finished serving! The food was delicious and the rest of the staff were very attentive and polite. Very dog friendly too, with Hettie having some of the beef leftovers from the kitchen! The pub is modern and nicely decorated and has lots of country character with cosy log burners. Couldn't fault it. Thank you so much.
