You absolutely must visit this pub!!! I may be biased as it's my (very) local, notwithstanding, even if I lived miles away I would be frequenting as often as possible! There really isn't much to not like about it, unless you're a cynophobe, in which case it may not be the place for you.... Even if you are, I would risk it... The food is simply amazing, delicious and ridiculous value for money! The beer is always spot on and the atmosphere is friendly and inviting. The landlady goes out of her way to make you feel at home.... This pub is so good I even bought a house to be near it! I implore you to visit... Try their Sunday lunch... You won't regret it!! Pop in for a swift one... You won't regret that either... Just wonderful I'm biased but it's true!!

First class country pub. Friendly service, very tasty food and a good drinks list including a couple of nice cask ale.

This pub is a total gem 💎 both a proper country pub and an inspired menu that surpasses expectation! You would be hard pressed to get this standard of food in a London. Great food, drinks, staff and dog friendly!! 🐾🐾❤️⭐️

An excellent find whilst out and about in the area 😀. Nice beer garden at the side and also at the back overlooking the fields, just to stop at after a drive or head over for some food with friends. The front door is on the road side, make sure you choose the right one... 😉 the left one doesn't work.
Visited here today with a group of friends as part of a country walk. We had a light lunch which was excellent. Food was hot and tasty. Will certainly return.

Such a warm, friendly welcome! Very accomodating, wonderful food and a great atmosphere. Family friendly with a gorgeous, well behaved doggy wandering about. This is how community pubs need to be run! Busy and full of life on a Thursday evening, we will gladly come back!
Lovely friendly service as before. Risotto done to perfection. Roast dinners were well received. Fish and chips went down extremely well. Good value and friendly atmosphere. We'll be visiting again very soon.
