Quaint little resteraunt in the basement in Otley. I think that the key to this place is it's authenticity. You do feel like you are in Italy as the staff are wonderful Italians. They are welcoming, helpful with a mediterranean sense of humour and passion. Don't expect 'll Buco to be extravagant. It's not. Don't expect to be served immediately and food on your table as soon as you sit down. You won't. But I don't actually go into a resteraunt and expect fast food. It's typically italian! And I go in to enjoy an evening. So the wait is never a problem. I often ask resteraunt staff to back off anyway :) It's a lovely little pocket of Italy. Which is just perfect for me. Each time I have been to 'll Buco I have thoroughly enjoyed all of my courses and have been offered samples of food and wine. 5 stars all the way for what me. Lovely. Perfecto!

What a great evening! The guys at the restaurant got the kids involved in making their own pizzas. It was just as they’d opened, therefore quiet & not something they probably do all the time, but Iris & Henry loved getting to stretch the dough and then seeing what the chef did next. The staff were so friendly & food was fantastic (and we only had the Early Bird menu). Will definitely return again soon! It was a lovely family evening. Thank you to the staff, tonight was an absolute joy.
Il Bucco is truly a little taste of Italy in Yorkshire. The best food I have tasted in many years in any restaurant. The owners are wonderful and make everyone feel so welcome. I can't wait to return here.

We celebrated my daughters 18th birthday on Saturday they made the evening very special. Staff were friendly and accommodating. They food was fantastic and from 9 of us with very different pallets everyone enjoyed the food. Thank you Il Buco.

Went as a group of 6 for a significant birthday celebration. My first visit. Great food, very good menu that satisfied all, compact environment that helps create a very comfy environment. Staff service and care were spot on. Nicely priced. Will deffo be going back. Mind, the wife and her mates have been 3 times this year already so must be good. Yes. Recommend highly. A big asset to Otley.
Lovely people, place, food, and as we went on a Monday which is live music night, great music too.
5-7pm Monday to Thursday is early bird menu - two courses at £10.99.
Even better - Monday is Italian night - four courses for £10.95 - though choice is limited its amazing value. Bread and olives while you wait (which isn't long at all).
We loved it, nice glass of house wine too, we'll be back. (July 2013)
Il Buco is a fabulous family run Italian restaurant. The food is wonderful & reasonably priced, wide ranging menu & all freshly cooked. I have been many times & never been disappointed. The family are so friendly & the service second to none. Highly recommend!!!
Excellent food and hosts as usual, I highly recommend any choice from the specials board which is changed daily or anything from the main menu is equally top quality and cooked to perfection
Delicious pizza to eat in or take away. My takeaway pizza easily served two, for about £10. Don't take cards under £20.

Service is okay, decor is dated, but the food is a-maz-ing. I had the fritto misto starter, and it was one of the nicest dishes I've ever had. Check it out!
