Bridgehead Coffeehouse

Solid Bridgehead. As far as Bridgeheads go, it's certainly a Bridgehead. It has the right logo and everything. There's lots of space and cool curvy benches, which I used to sit with my back in a comfortable, laterally-arched, concave position. On a Thursday afternoon, it was more sparsely populated than Baffin Island, which both gave me lots of privacy and made me feel a little cold for some reason.

All right, before I write this review, I have to state that we are big Bridgehead lovers! However, this location must do something with their staff. The latest disgust was when I ordered a soup. I asked the woman whihc soup was vegan and she told me there was only one. I took that one and ordered. The woman (with a thick accent, east-indian perhaps?), advised me that she had to put it in the microwave to warm it up. I thought this was a bit odd, considering Bridghead are big advocates on healthy eating and their soups are routinely warmed up in the big black pots. I told her I was going home where I would steam it warm. She dumped the soup from a plastic container to a take out container. She then asked for my 6$ and I requested a spoon. She proceeded to take the spoon with her hands, which I clearly had just seen she wiped her nose with and handed it to me. I left disgusted but got even more upset when I got home and noticed the soup definitely had cream and butter in it! Bridgehead is great as it caters to us vegans however, something must be done with their poor staff and ensure quality in their service! Do yourself a favor and walk down to the other bridgeheads along that street.
