A little peace of heaven hidden away from the masses. Have been coming for years though our last visit was over a year ago - we brought some friends to experience this fabulous place. New owners are very friendly and welcoming - lovely homely atmosphere and the scenery cannot help but take your breath away. Didn't have time to stay for a meal but the gin was fab - with a little bit of sage out of the garden. Thank you.

Finally made it along for a meal in the new rejuvenated Oystercatcher. Having been coming to this place for 34 years I can honestly say this is the best incarnation yet! The new owners are fantastic, friendly and have clearly invested a lot of thought in their vision for the place. Starting with the good stuff... Their choice of beers is commendable - nice to see a real appreciation of Scottish produce and not going down the bland lager, heavy and cider route. Great to see the return of Fyne Ales! The wine list I understand is being developed but even as it is - a small but good selection. We thoroughly enjoyed the Malbec. I'm not a gin drinker but the choice was impressive! And to the food - in a word amazing. There wasn't the usual pub food offerings but the result was all of us kids and adults trying new things and it went down well with everyone. You really can't beat good seasonal produce prepared with thought and imagination. The coffee and (daily freshly made) cake are also top quality. So, all in all 11/10

Went for lunch yesterday. Have wanted to go for so long to this hidden gem. The weather really helped and we sat outside in the sun. The food was fabulous, I had the burger which was brilliant, and other diners had the langoustines and mussels which looked fantastic too. The service was prompt and the staff were very helpful. I would recommend this to anyone in this part of the world but make sure you book in advance as spaces for dining are limited. Thank you very much, I will be back.

Delicious food! The Loch fyne soup is ridiculously good, amd the seafood is the best in the area. Great wine menu and local beers (try the Workbench!) Fantastic service from lovely staff. Beautiful venue in a stunning setting. Book in advance.

What a magical place. It has the atmosphere of a cosy pub, but the food is absolutely excellent. We had the roast cod which was caught in Loch Fyne, and it was one of the best fish dishes we've tried. The langoustines were also really fresh and tasty in the garlic sauce. It's a bit off the beaten track but totally worth the detour. The service is really friendly too. It's advisable to book ahead if you're dining.

There incredible moments we all encounter in life and for me, it was an an amazing experience I and my cyclist buddy had at this beautiful restaurant. The fabulous manager phoebe with wonderful customer care welcomed us, asked us about our fundraising ride. Moments later, she donated to us on top of giving us free classy drinks. What a fabulous generous human being you are phoebe! And the mussels I ended up ordering were so tasty. Thank you so much and will make it habit to come over every time I holiday at home in Glen massen.

Beautiful restuarant/bar with outside seating, which is perfect to watch the sunset. Menu changes regularly, everything we tried was delicious. They also have a good wine list 😊

Nice pub, beautiful location just at the corner of the road on the water. They have outside seating too, which faces over the water and can watch the sunset. Dogs are allowed both inside and out. Toilets available. Booking is definitely advised for this establishment as they seem to be open adhock hours. I cannot comment on the food, as they weren't serving when we went there. But what I can say is that the hot chocolate is very nice !!!

Food, service, view, all excellent... made better by the weather. Very dog friendly outside with plenty of space between tables, water bowls dotted around and plenty of grass and beach to go for a run on. Perfect lunch... thanks!
