The best fish and chips we have had for ages. This is the first time we have been to the Blue Marlin but what a find.. The staff were friendly and we got served very quickly and all was freshly cooked. The fish was really hot, good and tasty and a decent size. It did not all fall apart like at other
We had cod, battered sausage, chips and mushy peas… everything was absolutely delicious - the kind gentlemen working also gave me a sausage for my dog! I wish I lived nearer - YUM!

Outstanding fish and chips. A great choice and everything is cooked freshly to order. Excellent crispy batter and perfectly flaky fish. Chip portions are huge too. Great team and brilliant service. Very highly recommended.

If you order a large Fish and Chips (FC) be prepared to eat a lot. FC are fresh and tasty, and the staff really give it a genuine feel. Prices aren't steep and you definitely get your money's worth. My only critique is the pace of service, it can be super busy during the dinner rush but you can tell
Simple cheap and quick. Just what you want in a chippy. They had run out of a few things when I went but it was late and shortages are a thing everywhere atm
The line caught haddock is always superb and covered in light batter so you can taste the fish.
Accompanying chips taste like chips ought to and all is served by helpful and cheerful staff.

Portion Size is Just perfect, I feel the Price is Just Right and The Chips are absolutely amazing.

Certainly the best fish and chips in the area. The owners have returned and are clearly displeased about it! I miss the friendly service, professionalism and smiles of the previous managers. Would very much like to see them return.
