My family (living here in UK) thinks it is arguably one of the tastiest and authentic Thai food they’ve tasted in UK.
Highly recommended.

Only a matter of time before Oli's Thai get their first star...
Not only the best restaurant in Oxford, but the best Thai food I've tried. Simply delicious. The menu is concise, taking full advantage of seasonal produce. Oli's Thai has beautifully balanced dishes served in a relaxed, non-pretentious and cosy environment. A family run place with friendly staff, and owners passionate about delivering outstanding Thai cuisine. The menu has ample choice for vegans too. The take out menu means we can continue to enjoy this treasure during lock-down.
Cannot recommend highly enough.

We found this place when we googled for a place to eat in Oxford, we are Thai and we were excited to see many websites highly reccomended this Oli's Thai. We were so lucky to get the spots without booking. The food was good, the service was excellent. Eventhough the food does not taste exactly like the food in Thailand but it's still very good.

Was driving past and there happened to be a free parking space opposite and a free table. Ended up having an impromptu confit duck panang which was just as amazing as we remembered. We bought two slices of Spanish tortilla for our tea and some other treats as gifts for friends. One of our fave places in Oxford.

The single best “eating” experience I’ve had in the UK!
The quality and preparation was spectacular! A true taste of Thailand... in Oxford.
An absolute must!

Went with some friends. Ordered 4 different dishes from the Thai menu - WoW! Incredible Thai food, packed with the perfect amount of spice and flavour, simply delicious! Best Thai food I've had in a long time!

We’ve been here so many times and every time it’s fantastic. It’s definitely worth the hype. The food is delicious, the staff are always helpful and attentive, very knowledgeable about the menu. They book 3 months in advance but it’s worth the wait.

Perfect little Thai, food is unreal! So much flavour, texture and colour I can't recommend t highly enough. The Duck Panang is the star but everything we tried was delicious.
Tip 1 - book in advance, they release dates up to three months ahead
Tip 2 - if you're happy to chance your arm, there's a small section at the bar they keep for walk ins.

Brilliant people, fantastic food. Went at lunch time and they took down my number and called when a table was available. Highly recommend the prawn crackers as a starter easily serving 2-3. Felt the buzz of food-joy the rest of the day.

Small menu but whatever they served was easily the best thai food in the country, and would have similar accolades in Thailand as well

Really nice food in a cozy atmosphere. Friendly, helpful staff. Focused menu with a small number of exceptional options. Well worth a visit.

Excellent Thai food, possibly the best meal I've had in Oxford

Haven on a plate. The best lunch in Oxford. My beef dish was fragrant made with high quality ingredients served with a smile. Sitting outside on Magdalen road with a plate of authentic Thai food- priceless!

Got here after 3 months of waiting but the food was definitely worth the wait! They have a short menu that changes every week, but the chickpea salad (starter) and the duck in Penang curry (main) seem to be the all time favorites that survive the menu changes. We got 3 appetisers and a main each among 6 people and felt sufficiently full after that. The fishcakes were so good but slightly spicy for my taste, chickpea salad was great and mushroom tempura was an interesting find. Confit duck panang was a hit and must try if you go there! Though we also tried the cod in yellow curry which came in a close second.

Delicious food, great place for a quick lunch! Minimally decorated, resemble a Thai food court or Thai market.

Another flawless meal at Oli's Thai. These guys have warm, relaxed and genuine service spot on. Small things like water carafes that keep coming (no need to ask!) and empties removed super quick. The food is outstanding, fresh and delicious and we loved it. We had a booking in May 2020 - but due to COVID the place was closed (as with everywhere) and so it was lovely to get a booking in again.

Fantastic Thai food. The best I've had outside of Asia - definitely a must have if you're in Oxford for any amount of time. Not too expensive either, with friendly staff and definitely value for money. Flavours of all the food that I've had are incredible. I really love this food!!!

Lives up to the reputation, you should really try it. Be sure to book it in advance because it can take more than 3 months to get a reservation. But you can try your luck and show up early because they save a few spots in the counter for walk ins. Only 4-5 spots though.
It is a small place so it is cosy and ideal for a romantic dinner.
The best dishes are the crispy chickpea salad and green papaya salad. They constantly change the menu, I think every month so expect the mains to be different.
In our case the fish was cook to perfection and the spice blend was just amazing. All of the food is full of flavour so whatever you get you'll be satisfied.

...Oli's Thai is nothing short of brilliant. Not far from Oxford town center, Oli's Thai is a "neighborhood Thai restaurant" as...
