Had a great burger at this place, arrived around 14:30 and the place was reasonably quiet, the waiter was very helpful and patient. Went for 2 milkshakes, both were excellent and they weren’t too sweet. Great choice of burgers and sides to choose from, there is definitely something for you. The chips and onion rings were awesome as well, nice and crispy!
My only complaint, there’s no spicy burger option, should bring back one for sure.
I last visited 8 years ago back in 2014, back then the place was a few hundred meters up the road. Glad to see they did a good job with the decorations. Really cool place to be. Food and service was also amazing. Please bring back the old style menu and ditch the laminated white paper!

Lovely place to have a casual meal, and a definite place to try.
The restaurant's decor is hip, modern and trendy, with the room boasting many toys and figurines.
The menu had a great selection of food. Various options for all components of your typical burger and then more options of what style you wanted. Lots of side options and other various mains.
The portions were incredibly generous, size and quantity, definitely giving you your money's worth.
Myself and the other diner are both vegan. Everything seen in the photos is vegan and tasted amazing!!! We were overwhelmingly shocked at how many vegan options there were on the menu.
Service was great, friendly, fast, and efficient which gave the restaurant a lovely chilled atmosphere.
Excellent food and service. The atmosphere was great and tranquil. A place for friends, couples, families, all who enjoy a lively atmosphere while enjoying a great meal.
There is a car park behind the Costa Coffee just about two blocks away. Surroundings are not very nice but the food and experience are worth it if you are cautious and mindful of your surroundings.
We can't recommend this lovely little gem enough, it's a bit of a walk from the main part of Oxford but it's worth it, great friendly staff, food was hot, tasty and plentiful. The decor is fantastic, back to everything 80s that we love !

The overall area is very inspirational from street art to food or ice cream shop next door.
The comics based design brings you back to childhood and I’m sure, all your favorite super heroes will be there.
Good value overall. Fries standard but great crunch. Burger was very good and service was pleasant. Great location on Cowley Road within stone's throw of an eScooter (Voi app required)

I was visiting Oxford from London, saw this place online and thought the food pictures looked amazing. Tried to find it with Google maps but couldn't find it at all. The reason being there isnt an outside sign saying Atomic Burger. If you are going catch a cab or bus. Food was good and served quite quickly. Buffalo natchos tasted amazing and the burgers were not bad, buns under cooked but ok. But the best thing about the place for me was the tour and figures from when I was a child. Old school and brought back so many memories.
Lovely experience - great food. The waitress was really knowledgable of the menu especially the vegan options. I had the nacho burger (called ‘Frito Bandito’) which was made vegan by taking out the sour cream. I was slightly disappointed as the guacamole on that day was made with crème fraîche so the guacamole had to be taken out too. Overall, the burger was still yummy! Great staff, vibes and food. Family and me really loved our time there and will be coming back soon.

I must say the biggest thank you to the entire team at Atomic Burger and a special thanks to Nadine.
Firstly the food is amazing the halloumi fries are a must have if you want some cheesey fire in your life. The BA burger and garlic rosemary I just never wanted to end beautifully cook and seasoned, anyone going must try the wookie cookie sundae (leave room for it) just so lovely to eat a nice way to round off the meal.
Secondly the drinks Rainbow Dash cocktail is so fun and whimsical that it fills me with joy thinking about it, gave me the energy to eat the lovely food. The truffle shuffle milkshake made me want to do the truffle shuffle dance just no words for it.
Thirdly the decor and the menu is just so wonderful, charming and comfortable that it should make anyone so relaxed and happy to be there. The music is just what anyone could want I would happily sit there all night sipping my drink listening to it and singing along.
Fourthly the staff, I have never seen staff so happy to help, so relaxed with their job so nice in general that it's the perfect atmosphere for the restaurant. Thank you Nadine and the team (kitchen too) for an amazing end of my holiday. Even as a table of 1 I never felt I was alone thanks guys :)
I have no doubt in my mind I would make the 2hr38min train journey just to come back to this restaurant.

Really good place to eat and a good find in Oxford!
Being vegetarian we weren't sure what to expect but it was worth visiting and really enjoyed the meal.
The only downside would be that the veggie party was quite dry and the burger I went for (although really quirky) didn't help the dry patty and so ended up having to add a lot of sauce myself.
However we also ordered a veggie burger with veggie Quorn chilli and that was much better! Moist and tasty, it went well with the garlic rosemary fries!
Staff are friendly and the decor is really cool! (Especially if your a comic/superhero fan).
Great place for American-style food. Welcoming staff, great food, and awesome decor! Pricing is decent as well, ~£5 for the milkshake (Coffee milkshake was fantastic!) and ~£14 for the burger + chips. Staff are very friendly and helpful, would 100% recommend Atomic Burger if you fancy treating yourself! Wish I lived closer so could visit more often :)
Fabulous decor and lovely friendly service. The food is exceptional - between us we had wings, the Dead Elvis burger and the trailer park fries - all very tasty, and the oreo milkshake was first class according to my son. The closest parking is behind Tesco Express (2 mins walk away) - cash or card and very reasonable.
Such a huge selection of burgers and always cooked to absolute perfection, so juicy and flavoursome! Where else can you get a burger with Space Raiders in 🤔, such a quirky little place with great decor! Have never had a bad experience! Come to Atomic Burger whenever I'm in Oxford and would recommend to any burger lover! Name of the burgers in order below: The Major Tom (with space raiders), The Dixie Chick (with Southern Fried Chicken, buffalo sauce, blue cheese sauce and American Cheese) and The Frito Bandito (with nachos, guacamole, salsa and sour cream)
Check out their menu for tonnes of other weird and wonderful flavours, they also do the standard burgers as well for the not so brave/weird 😉

I had the Honour of visiting Atomic Burger and the decor, the figurines, the comic strip wallpapers, it was magical.
I strongly urge everyone when in Oxford to visit this Fortress of Solitude!
This place is right off your '80s and '90s childhood Argos catalogue Christmas list!! The memorabilia is insane and brought back so many memories! Team it with awesome food, crazy milkshakes, and music videos and you have the perfect dinner spot!
THE COOLEST SPOT IN OXFORD. I say that, and when I was a little girl I wanted to go to Oxford and become a literary great. This place is cooler than any of the colleges, though I do wonder how many pounds worth of comics they destroyed for their walls (it was still worth it).
Love the interior. Definitely family friendly. It's a great atmosphere with friendly staff. Food was on point too.
