Had a spontaneous meal here- never heard of this place, but it came up on Google. Food was typical gastro-pub grub, Sunday roast was lovely (though could use more gravy). Delicious posset for dessert. The highlight was we sat on the beautiful terrace in the balmy Sunday afternoon which was a delight

Went here for a Sunday lunch. The service was great but we had higher expectations for the food. It was acceptable and we had a nice meal, everything was cooked well, but the meat was a bit too thinly cut and the pork crackling consisted a few flakes sprinkled on top. I thought we’d get more/better

They have a great selection of smaller dishes (starters/small plates/sides) which I actually prefer to choose from instead of mains to get variation.
