Plough At 38 - Oxford - Photo album

Cozy little pub, we only stopped by for a drink mid afternoon, the kitchen closes in the afternoon so we couldn't get food. Dog friendly, the barman even offered a bowl of water. Staff was really friendly. Only drawback is price, we paid £3 for a can of Coke. Which I guess is what you get for being
Lovely transformation of this historic building in Oxford. Great modern bar and restaurant. Although the original wooden staircase remains, which is charming. Great bar with plenty of Ales, wine and funky vodka and Gins. It's a real feature to see the Brewing room for the Ales behind the bar. The re
This is the first restaurant I visited in Oxford and it was delicious!! I went with the 3 course and didn’t regret it one bit. From the appetizer to the main course to the dessert, all of it was made to perfection. The food was clearly fresh and beautiful. I felt very satisfied and have a feeling I’
Been there for drink because they’re serving nice variety of cask & keg beers locally brewed as well as around the country. Great location, great atmosphere and lovely vibes. The staff was very welcoming and attentive and keen to ensure we had a great experience. It’s a table service n drinks arrive
Best place for a sunday roast. The belly pork was divine. Skin was super crunchy. Hats off to the chef. Staff where amazing very welcoming and accommodating. After 6hr ride in the cold from london to oxford they gave us much needed blankets to keep us warm and toasty, u are all life savers. Thank yo
Great service! The staff were super friendly and attentive. The drinks came out quickly, and the fish and chips took quite a while but were well worth the wait. The chips may be the thickest and crunchiest I've ever had. Such a pleasure! It was obvious they'd just been made and not heated as in some
This place is a historical old Pub in Oxford. I had the cheddar Ploughman sandwich and the person I was with had the chicken burger. They had a good selection of vegetarian options. The fries were delicious and they had fountain soda. They had a good selection of outdoor seating (with umbrellas and
Tasty restaurant! The card is small but all their dishes are great and not super expensive. The service was friendly but chaotic: there weren’t enough waiters so they forgot orders, mixed them up,...
I like it alot. Very interesting range of cocktails. For instance, haribo rings was one I ordered. I drank about 5 of them and I felt quite wavey. If you have some things to do or commitments to attend to after visiting, I would advise drinking less than 5 of them.
Great old historical pub with a lot of character, very cosy, staff friendly, I had just a pint there but definitely would back for a meal.
Visiting Oxford for a holiday. Wandering through the town we spotted this bar and decided to stop for some refreshment. We were promptly seated and presently served. The server was fantastic, offering a friendly, professional and courteous manner. The drinks and food arrived as ordered, despite us b
The menu is reduced during covid (April 2021) and it's just....ok. Plenty of outdoor seating and friendly staff. You will need a reservation. Right in the heart of Oxford and a stones throw from Westgate car park.
Located centrally, quite some options for drinks, but very limited for food, the atitude was not the best in terms recomending stuff like having Birra moretti as beer of the house instead of a local one like Oxford IPA... no distinctive atmosphere
