Lovely friendly pub with fantastic food the landlady and her staff always give a very warm welcome
Very nice pub. Currently, there is no food due to no chef. However, the pub is excellent inside. Loads of space, lots of seating, background music, large beer garden etc.
The staff are super friendly and very helpful. It's easy to get to with good road links in all directions and very large car park for those who drive.
Will definitely go again.

Best bear garden in Quarry and Risinghurst. Very nice pub, welcoming atmosphere, recently refurbished to a high standard. Good place to go for a meal or social. Wide choice of drinks in a warm and relaxing environment with friendly bar staff. Definitely worth a visit.
Was a really nice discovery, prices are normal and acceptable. Meal was great big and tasty. Beer was good. Workers are polite, looks like a local pub that everybody likes, we will visit again ti try other meals. Would definetly recommend it. Cheers 🥂
Went for a roast dinner didn't have to book must say the roast dinner was the best roast I've had in a long time it was served quickly and nice and hot will definitely return the staff were friendly aswell

Just had a fantastic Sunday lunch and can’t recommend it highly enough. Food was plentiful and delicious. Felt stuffed but had to force a pudding down because they look so good and it was so worth it.
Service is really friendly without being intrusive.
Will definitely be back.
Great atmosphere feels like a modern country pub. Food is well presented and tastes nice. Prices are very reasonable. Big space outside for sitting in cold weather and warn and cosy feel inside for those cold winter days. Staff are very friendly and welcoming always greeted as you walk in the door! Also child friendly!
We had a private function at the pub this afternoon/evening and can't speak highly enough of the team there. We were early but it was no problem, everything was taken care of. The team really looked after us, including making sure we had a cup of tea to hand. The food was really lovely and fresh, and evey detail was perfect. The pub itself is lovely and looks like it's been renovated as it's really modern and fresh inside. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it for a private function or just a lovely lunch.
