What a great night had here when we walked in it was dead! But the barmen was very friendly we ordered cocktails and he was professional. In the end it turned out like he was our personal barman he made us all a special cocktail that wasn't on the menu. One that has no name so we named it!! Very yummy. We will return when the work is finished!!! 10/10 for me
Beer and cider, crisp and delicious to the mouth 😄 Didn't try food or cocktails so cannot comment on those.

Superb location. Nice bar and back garden. Good food too.
Not quite finished yet but this is going to be a really good venue when the builders move out. The drinks and service were great.

The dj on a Saturday night plays some fantastic house music.

Attended a small.private party upstairs and it was great atmosphere. Canapés were lovely. Drinks were good. Great vegan options.
The staff was friendly. Great location, next to the river, nice garden but I'm not impressed by the food.
Loved the ambience, the setup, the music, the dance floor, outdoor seating area, the crowd and pretty much everything! I went for the Friday's Latin socials and it was amazing. Would definitely recommend this place on a Friday over all the other clubs and pubs in Oxford. Best part, it's free entry!!
We had our wedding reception at The Oxford Retreat and had such an amazing time! The staff were all lovely and very helpful and helped make our special day even more special! I would definitely recommend renting upstairs for any events you may have.
Visited early Saturday evening for a drink before catching the train (couple of minutes walk to the station). Had a coffee and hubby a pint. Service was fine but as it was early it wasn't busy.
Nice pub near the train station. Not ridiculously crowded but nice atmosphere. Only 1 veggie option (burger) for main course

Nice big tables outside a semi- covered area to sit in. Orders made through QR code at table and then brought to table. Quick service. We were a small group wanting a quick drink in a nearby location and it was great.

This place is great. Not only it's the best place to go partying if you are spanish, but also has a really nice terrace were you can have some drinks in the afternoon/evening.

Loved the mocktails! There is a nice ambience with lovely people performing live music. The bartender was especially friendly and made us two types of mocktails which both tasted amazing! Not to mention the price.

Nice slic and well maintained pub in the heart of Oxford by a river. Its got a nice comfortable outside drinking area and it's also got a decent selection of drinks available. Prices are what to be expected in that area. Food menu is simple but effective, could possibly introduce a few started options like soup to the menu.
First of all, this is one of the only pubs in Oxford to stay open till 3 am on a Friday night. They’re trying a similar closing time on Saturdays, I hope that becomes permanent. On top of that, it’s a central location, the food’s really good and they played excellent tunes all night! They have a nice selection of cocktails and did 4 for £10 shots. My friends and I will definitely go back.
