Best gelatos in oxford. Friendly staff. Delicious gelatos flavours. Prices are good for quality and quantity. The van is located Banbury road, Summertown's main street. You can get ice cream in cones, cups or takeaway boxes. They have classic flavours and they also do specials. I tried the pistachio and mascarpone & profiterole. The best thing about this place: you can do one scoop half and half (two flavours in one scoop). This place is a must-try in oxford.
This ice cream is honestly the best ice cream. I had the chocolate and vanilla mix, I enjoyed it so much I ordered a big tub for takeaway 🙈
So glad that I am able to find them in Summertown and not having to go all the way to Woodstock. Easily the best gelato in Oxford!
The best pistachio ice cream I’ve ever tasted in my life. Full flavour of pistachio with no excessive sweetness. Never been an ice cream person but will frequent this place while the heat is on. Can’t wait to try the other flavours soon.
I loooved it, today at Summertown’s farmers market I tried the hazelnut and pistachio flavors, absolutely amazing and creamy!
And the man selling was super nice

I would give so much more than 5 stars!! The staff are absolutely lovely and every single flavour was delicious, I couldn't choose! I'm going to have to keep going back until I've tried them all!

That dark chocolate was sensational. The packaging had a hole in it though and it vanished in one evening! Just kidding- we ate it all up. Crazy good!
And I wish you could have seen everyone’s faces light up with chocolate covered coffee beans on the BEST coffee ice cream ever made in the history of the world.

My partner and I started going to Alfonso's when we were working from home last summer - it was the perfect treat at the end of the day and we couldn't stop going back. The gelato is absolutely delicious (certainly the best we have tried in Oxford), my favourite flavour is Mango but there are always amazing new specials to try too! Lewis, the owner, is lovely and we are very lucky to have authentic Italian gelato here in Oxford! We have since moved a bit further away, but we are now driving to Woodstock to keep up the gelato obsession. Can thoroughly recommend!
Must be some serious chemistry going on in here. This is without a doubt the best ice cream I have ever had in Oxford. Don't get me wrong I do like other ones too but if you try the hazelnut ice cream from Alfonso you will know what I'm talking about.
I also had a go at the, vanilla, mango, pistachio, chocolate, salted caramel and even the tiramisu, they all were very good. I will definitely be back for some more soon.
