I approached the manager of the Rowing Club Pizza Shack to ask if I could book 25 people to surprise my son on his birthday. The manager was very keen to cater to our specific needs. It was a Friday night and the pizzas just came rolling out of the real wood pizza oven. They were excellent. As a venue overlooking the river and open to the general public the atmosphere could not have been better. My thanks to the staff that were very attentive.
I would highly recommend the venue and food.

Organised a surprise birthday for my sons 40th last week. Brilliant venue and excellent pizzas cooked in wood pizza oven. The staff were friendly and accommodated all our needs to ensure all went smoothly. The venue has fabulous views over river. Great for watching sunset. Thank you Pizza Shack
So these guys sorted out pizza galore for 25 of us to celebrate my birthday. The pizzas just kept coming and they are second to none in Oxford. Best view of the sunset as well. I’ll be going back for more no doubt.
Bottomless pizza was absolutely AMAZING!!!! Everything was delicious! Really enjoyable also trying out the sweet pizzas too! The staff are all lovely, professional and can't do enough for you. Highly highly recommend!!
I attended a party here last week (28/01/23) and had a wonderful time.
However there wasn't enough bar staff for the function which meant a long wait for service.
The steps leading up to the main function room is very badly lit and the toilets could have been cleaner and better equipped.
Surprisingly there is no disabled access or toilet plus wet floors and spillages were evident throughout the entire evening.
However there is ample parking
I have only been there for the salsa evening but it was great! Great place for dancing, drinks are quite affordable and they have a nice outdoor area for those that want to sit down, chat and enjoy their drink. Highly recommended
Went here with my partner and our friends and cannot recommend it enough.
It feels like you're on holiday while at home, the view of the river, the tunes, the seating outside, it all makes for a perfect setting, and that's before you think about the service.
The guy who looked after us is just amazing, he so clearly enjoys his job and likes to make sure people have a nice time. Not only is he lovely to you, but he also brought over free churro style desserts, and a cocktail for free!
This wasn't because anything was wrong either, it was all perfect anyway.
I suspect that we may have found our favourite place to hang, at the very least in the summer time.
Lovely bacon sandwich and Tea and coffee for my wife, myself beautiful setting. Must of all to Lovely lady's who looked after us thank you lady's please try this lovely place if you can cheers
