The Oxford Grillehouse

My wife and I celebrated our 1st Anniversary there tonight. We had the grilled thick cut bacon with pepper jelly and goat cheese for the appetizer. It was very good. Intense flavors with no heat from the jelly. Our main course was 16oz New York Strip medium rare. The sides we chose were asparagus and sweet creamed corn. The steak was cooked perfectly and tasted great. The asparagus was absolutely delicious. Both my wife and I were in unison on the fact that the corn dish was the star of the show. We jokingly said that next time we will just order a gallon of Sweet Creamed Corn and the rolls. 🙂 Our desserts were pecan pie and Bananas Foster Cheesecake. We were so full and satisfied. We could barely walk out the door. Definitely worth the trip to Oxford on a Sunday night.

Friendly on the phone. We called to make sure dining room open. They were. Then they were even more friendly in person. Great specials. I got the surf and turf. My wife the sea bass on risotto. We shared Brussel sprouts and creamed spinach. All were excellent. Can't say enough good about it. Great drinks too. Would highly recommend.

My husband and I have been here twice now and both times the food was absolutely amazing. We went the first time as a happy accident and we both got filet steaks + sides. All the sides we tried were phenomenal and the steaks were cooked and seasoned to perfection. It has become our new favorite steakhouse. I'm a big bread person and their rolls are absolute perfection. My husband is more into steaks and he agrees that their steaks are perfect. I got well done steaks and it was cooked great and was somehow still juicy inside. Their desserts are tasty too! Make sure you save plenty of room when you visit because you will need it! We will definitely be coming back again and again! Also the customer service and wait staff was amazing as well! Highly recommend.
