Kabuki Japanese Steakhouse

We arrived for a lunch date after my wife had an interview in Oxford. We sat in the sushi area. The server took the order, repeated back that I wanted the dressing on the side for my salad. Then delivers the salad with dressing already on the salad. Didn't even notice. However the rest of the order was proper and tasted fantastic!

Kabuki serves lunch and dinner. You can choose to sit on the hibachi side or the side with table and chairs and no hibachi grill. The sushi is wonderful and usually looks just as wonderful as it tastes. I love the mussels with cheese. They might not look as appealing as other food but I assure you that if you like mussels and you like cheese then you will really like this dish. The owner convinced me to eat the heads of the shrimp. They really were good. Just don't look into their eyes as you eat the shrimp heads. I highly recommend the scallops if you're wanting a hibachi meal. I haven't found anything I did not like. The food is wonderful, the chefs are entertaining and the wait staff are always around when you need them.
