I moved to Oxford about 7 months ago and have tried various restaurants around town. I came across El Agave after visiting another Mexican restaurant that was lackluster. El Agave proved to be a better choice for Mexican food. The food had flavor and spice. Their salsa left a lot to be desired but had nice heat with it to make up for the lack of any other flavors. I definitely plan to visit El Agave again.

I was looking for somewhere to eat after my doctors appointment and after searching google I ran across El Agave! The reviews caught my eye and then the pictures caught my eye as well. When I say this place is exceptionally clean, my server was extremely helpful, attentive, and nice! My food was so good and hot!! For anyone looking for a good Mexican Restaurant place to eat please come here I promise you will not be disappointed!!

Pretty good! We ordered Nachos Supreme and Big Daddy Burritos and they were exactly what we ordered and how we ordered it. Queso is a little expensive, but very decent food.

Food and service is good, place is always busy and clean. If weekend I suggest making a reservation if your going between 5-9pm.
