Daddy O's

Trash. We ordered take out on our way to work. $40 for two burritos and two coffees which is fine if the food and service is good, but it's garbage. They gave us the wrong food, didn't even get the two burritos we paid for, the one we did get was soggy and dripped yellow juice everywhere. The home fries looked 3 days old and tasted like it too. Just gnarly and a waste of time when you need breakfast before work. Go elsewhere.

Absolutely delicious food and VERY reasonably priced! Everything was excellent - food, service, decor. Love the various license plates everywhere! Some are funny! They even have a paper placemat where you can mark all 50 states when you find them. The waitress was attentive and sweet! She treated my grandmother so well despite her being a little nutty. The food portions were plentiful! My grandmother doesn’t eat much and their kid menu could feed your average adult. I also love the food pantry when you first walk in. It’s so nice to see a local restaurant giving back like that! It’s just inspiring to see how giving people still are in this crazy world we live in! I will definitely be back and bring things to donate to the pantry!

It's a nice restaurant and a good atmosphere. We've met the owner who does amazing charity work for the area and makes really good burgers and hot dogs. He is a very kind man and seems passionate about his restaurant and helping others. Our servers are always nice and fairly quick. The reason I am rating it 4 instead of 5 is because I found the breakfast I had (2 eggs, bacon, sausage, toast) rather lackluster. It wasn't bad but I just didn't find it very good. I've never orded lunch or dinner there yet and will definitely come back to try those and maybe will like them better. Overall I really do recommend this restaurant and I'm looking forward to going back. Also when we went last I seen they have free food (boxed, can goods etc) at an accessible place for those in need. I thought this was really thoughtful and great that they are helping those in need. I never see that where I grew up.

Enjoyed playing the liscence plate game! The breakfast was outstanding. Had 3 eggs over easy with toast string hash browns were cooked just the way I like em! 3 sausage 3 bacon and French toast! It was excellent and cooked perfectly! Our waitress was very good checked on us several times! Meal was more than worth it the price!

My daughter and I are “foodies”. We spent the morning shopping in all the local antique stores in Oxford and as it was getting near lunchtime, we googled a place to eat lunch. We were closest to Daddy O’s Dinner, so we chose to go there. Salad and burger were good and daughters sausage gravy omelet and homemade toast were delicious. As a Bakers daughter, I am skeptical about advertised, “homemade” desserts. The peanut butter and the lemon meringue pies were homemade and yummy! Waitress and service were great! Nice to hear the “ locals” , chatting with the staff, indication of repeat customers! We will be back!

To get this out of the way first, I didn’t find the food here to be truly remarkable and alone worthy of five stars. However the very good food that was also homemade is coupled with a clear passion to give back to the community. As you walk in you’re greeted by a table that serves as a community food pantry (“give what you can, take what you need”) which is one of the best ideas I’ve seen from a restaurant. Then you pass the newspaper article about one of the owners donating a kidney to their customer. This place seems to deserve all the success and prosperity that they can get.
