Every dish we had was outstanding. The little touches and the warm welcome received made this a fantastic place with family and friends. The slow roasted lamb was an absolute knockout. And the two vegetarians at the table had a terrific selection as well. The food was beyond exceptional and the mint tea to finish is a must!! A Piece of Heaven! Olive and Staff...You Rock!!

I had the mezze platter, which was incredibly filling and delicious! Healthy, too. It was £11, if I recall. The place is quaint, with very fast service. The waitress was cheerful and friendly - great for a casual meal with friends!

Had dinner at this place the other evening with 2 of my friends. You can tell the effort which goes into creating and cooking their dishes. Everything was perfectly balanced. Although this place looks small from the outside, the service was exceptional. The lamb tajin was the best I ever had and tested delicious even the next day (from the leftovers). The cauliflower was debunked and the hummus the creamiest I ever tried. Looking forward to go here again for dinner and try more dishes.

Went for a family deal dinner and ordered hummus, lamb tagine and baklava for desert. Everything was 10 out 10. My wife ordered some extra for a take out at home. Great service and excellent value for money.

Absolutely Delicious We had an absolutely amazing and delicious meal here, been there with my friends started off with the Starters the Hummus and Salad were perfect. Everything was fresh and served with warm pita. Our entrees included Vegetable mousakka, a chicken Tagine, and Lamb Shank. The lamb fell off the bone, the chicken was so flavourful! After dinner, we shared a baklava and a perfectly baked Carrot cake. Of course, we topped the whole meal off with mint tea! The service and ambience were great. Can't wait to go again!

Best Mediterranean food so far!! As a big fan of Mediterranean food, I was very excited to try at olive café and restaurant. It exceeded expectations. The service is very good. The hummus was light and the mint tea was delicious. Moving onto the entrees, we had both the chicken and the lamb tagine. Both were extraordinary. We've been to many a good Mediterranean restaurant and this was as good or better. Would go back over and over again. Truly a great experience.

An unassuming little café, ideally placed just a stone's throw from Oxford train station. Ideal for an informal working lunch with people travelling from further afield. Good range of food to suit everyone. Friendly and helpful staff, delicious food (especially the hummus!), and reasonably priced. Will be returning. NB: no dogs allowed inside but there are a couple of tables outside if the weather is good.

Staying at the adjacent Royal Oxford Hotel. Didn't initially opt for breakfast here when I booked my room as I thought I'd want to explore the city and eat breakfast elsewhere. But am doing the Thames Walk and now happy to not do any extraneous walking. Not a huge selection but perfect variety. Got the full English with coffee and juice for 9.50. As an American I thought the price was very good (regardless of exchange rate). Also of note, the service was excellent. He was the only person taking care of everyone, which included hotel guests as well as walk-ins (photo shows empty seats but the place was full within minutes), and was sincerely friendly and helpful to all. I would recommend this place.

Great food!! Tagines! Couscous! Falafel! Oh So Good! Been here for the dinner, really enjoyed the couscous but the lamb shank tagine got amazing table reviews. The entire meal was spot-on from the fresh salad and the hummus platter through the main courses. Located in Oxford, station and a little out-of-the-way, I would highly recommend this Moroccan delight. The restaurant is attractive, leaning to hip, and the service was excellent.

I go often to the Olive Branch as it a palette’s paradise with an array of Middle Eastern / Mediterranean dishes, all equally delicious and reasonably priced for Oxford! I have never been disappointed as the service is fast and the food is served hot! All dishes are favourites but the albóndigas ( meatballs) and the patatas bravas are my favourites. It will continue to be my break haven and I have recommended many people, all whom have left satisfied!

I recently stumbled upon a delightful café in the heart of the city and had such a wonderful experience that I couldn't help but share my thoughts. This hidden gem, known as "Café Haven," offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere coupled with a remarkable selection of flavors. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming ambiance. The café's charming decor, with its comfortable seating and soft lighting, created a relaxed setting that made me feel right at home. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the air, instantly whetting my appetite.

We called for breakfast to fuel up before a long walk along the Thames Path. Be aware that this is a pork free zone but don't let that put you off because the substitutes were as good, if not better. The turkey bacon tasted like bacon and the lamb sausages were slightly spicy and totally delicious. We had two 'Royal' breakfasts, which is the closest to a full English and one eggs benedict florentine. All were perfectly cooked and the aggs all had runny yolks. The café is conveniently situated by the railway station so if you want to fuel up before heading out along the train line to walk back it's ideal. The service was faultless. There are great vegetarian and vegan breakfasts as well. It was a little more expensive than you would pay in a supermarket café but the ingredients and cooking were far superior so gives excellent value for money. We would definitely eat there again.
