Some of the dishes we had were very very good and unique flavoured (king prawn starter and the lamb special, cauliflower soup) but the minute steak wasn't a successful dish, it was frankly unchewable and
A fantastic meal in a location you wouldn’t expect. The homemade sausage rolls were of a very high standard and the Asian style steak main really grew on me. The service was really good. There was a large group dining at the same time as us but it seemed not to have an impact at all on the service.
A tasteful modern update of a long established venue. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, good selection of drinks and real ales, and an imaginative well cooked menu. One point of note was that the cheese selection which I thought was excellent and great value to boot.

Had the spicy aubergine and halloumi burger , was delicious, flavours really worked well together. Staff were really friendly. Orange brownie for dessert finished off a great meal.
Very nice pub with good sevice and tasty food. They even have a closed outside garden which is ideal for kids.

Really nice friendly staff and great service! We ordered a tonne of Fish and Chips (a few adults and children!), and all came out excellent. Inside is spacious with lots of hand sanitsers too for Covid situation, outdoor seating available which we didnt use as it was getting a bit nippy! Very family
