Pick up for take away, lady at the desk was extremely polite. No waiting about, food was hit and ready. Price is absolutely fair! The food was amazing. For someone who rarely has Chinese takeaway, I'm definitely going to order again! Lovely.
We enjoyed our lunch here, the food was great and the service was prompt.
Living nearby, we fancied a lunch somewhere new and we loved the food (beef curry, prawns and black bean aubergine).
Food is always good in here, service for a while was a bit lacklustre but has definitely got better recently.

My husband and I enjoyed a delicious meal at the Golden Palace, Oxted today. The staff were very helpful, and friendly. We did not have the buffet, Eat as much as you like for £15.50. We decided to have all our favourites from the main menu, which was really enjoyable. Great to find another Chinese restaurant that is open on a Sunday lunch time, from 12.00 - 3.30pm. We have no hesitation in recommending this lovely restaurant, and will be returning!
We haven't visited the Golden Palace since before lockdown and we weren't disappointed with our visit on Sunday for our wedding anniversary.
The food is freshly cooked to order. The starters and prawn crackers were delicious followed by the duck, the sauce was strangely thick and the cucumber had dried slightly though which is why I only gave 4 stars. The chilli beef could have been a little more crispy to my liking if I were to be fussy. The selection of mains were a good variety and very tasty.
On the whole we had a wonderful dinner that was reasonably priced.

Great helpful staff, great food. Our friend has a problem with swallowing due to illness and staff were helpful and understanding even offering recommendations for ease of eating. Highly recommended
Good food, decent portions, predictable prices. Couldn't fault the food, and portion size was definitely above average. Slightly pricey, but Chinese food always is. Cosy atmosphere in the restaurant. All in all, very good.
Great food, fair pricing, slowish service. Place was jammed but only two staff serving, rushed off their feet ! Recommended
Our vegetable curry was delicious. Vegetables cooked just right. A little kess hot flavouring would make it a favourite.
Characterful restaurant. Classic Chinese food. Good range and portions. Friendly staff. Only points to note are that the toilets are in need of refurb and they are on the first floor.
