Padbury Fish Supply

4 pieces of fish and $3 chips for $43. Get home and open the packs to find each piece of fish no bigger than 10cm x 6cm and not very thick and what I would consider VERY minimal chips, overall enough to just feed 1 x 4 and 1 x 6 year old. Rather disappointing, and now to find dinner for the adults… Not likely to be back.

Not my local but needed feeding so i called in. Oil was fresh and meal was cooked well. Atmosphere was pretty average. Whilst i only had a piece of fish and a chico roll. The fish was cooked well but it was the most miserable size id ever had in my life. And it cost me $9.95 for a piece of imported Barramundi. I didnt go for W.A fish as i usually would because their prices were the most expensive i have ever seen at a local suburban fish and chip shop. From memory it was like $16.00 or $18.00. My local charges $14.00 for pink snapper and u get 2 of the most generous pieces. Would i go there again. Yes. But i would only grab a chico roll. And none of the staff smile or talk.

I’m sad to say after supporting this business for many years now. I’m not going back. It started with young girl answering the phone with huge attitude to actually going down to get the order. When I got there heard the same attitude serving the people ahead of me. When I got home and opened our order there were barely any chips and the fish was tiny. Wouldn’t even feed a child. I ordered the fish for 2 which was usually enough for my husband and I and lots of chips usually. I’m sorry but very disappointing.

Thought we'd give this place another try cpl weeks ago and it was awesome, loads of extra yummy fish like the old days and chips werent floury or precooked like it seems they all are these days maybe coz the owner was there?? But went back this time and just a small serve of single fish that was a bit dry and chips seemed slightly under cooked, not bad just not as good as last time. Prob keep searching for my "regular" F n C
