Angelo's Traditional Pizzeria Restaurant

Really good service, they're all very nice and accommodating. The atmosphere and ambience is very nice and warm and the decor is interesting. It's a bit hard to see but there is a proper sitting and dining area further in from the entrance. The pizzas were amazing! The prices are extremely reasonable for the generous serving sizes and the fresh, incredible tasting pizzas. There are so so so so many vegetarian options to choose from with pizzas and pastas. Everything is very very customisable and there are so many options to choose from. It's a pretty basic restaurant, nothing overly fancy...but they do everything right and I cannot fault much. Definitely worth a visit some time.

Yum! That's all I can say. Glad to see these guys on menulog. We've been in the area nearly 3 yrs and we always say we've got to try these guys everytime we pass by. Finally, we did. Can't believe what we've been missing out. Great crust with char. Love it. The sauce is delish and the toppings generous. We got the Supreme with added prawns and an Italian salad. It was enough for hubby and I. Found a new fave pizza place. I'd post a pic but an empty pizza box is not appetising. Haha.

both risottos I ordered tonight were raw- undercooked both of them. There was hardly any seafood in the risotto - there was an octopus and some calamari. When I called, I was told that the risotto was meant to be crunchy. I was also accused of lying/not knowing Italian food. I was told if I wanted prawns in the seafood risotto that I would have to order them separately. I was then told ‘We’ve had hundreds of orders tonight and your the only one complaining.’ I don’t have the time or energy to argue. Has there been a change in management ? After tonight we won’t be back. I understand it’s was close to closing time but that’s not an excuse to serve raw food and dismiss concerns outright

The food has never been fabulous but we have been ordering here for years and the regular man that answers the phone is very polite and always happy to help. We ask for extra sauce with the chips and he has never asked us to pay extra, even though we would be happy to. The experience we had the last time we ordered was a completely different scenario. We ordered through Menulog and ordered the Russo’s chips. We wanted extra sauce but they haven’t made this an option on the ordering app, so we proceeded to ring them only for the man who answered the phone to tell us that we need to pay an extra $2.50 per tub of chips for extra sauce, umm great.... how would you like me to give you the money if the delivery driver is unassociated with the restaurant? We told him we were more than happy to pay, but that it wasn’t an option on Menulog. He said he would do it just this once but that we would have to pay extra next time. Again, cool! But it’s not my fault that you’re incompetent and can’t add an extra sauce button? We added extra feta and tomato to both of our pizzas at an inflated cost. Both pizzas came with no feta, but with the tomato. So clearly they’ve seen the add ons we’ve paid for but wanted to save a few dollars themselves by skimping on adding what we ordered. The chips also came with literally no sauce - they were dry and had a few spring onions on sauce. I mean it when I say not even a drizzle of sauce. Disgusting.

The supreme and vegetarian pizzas were delicious. The spaghetti aglio e olio was less than desired. It tasted plain and the spaghetti was a bit burnt. The spaghetti tasted more like 2 minute noodles than spaghetti. There were plenty of chicken pieces so that made up for it. Poor customer service though.

Delicious food, a regular choice for Friday take away. Great value, something for everyone. The thick cut chips and Russo’s sauce is fantastic. Staff are very good at handling busy and haven’t been shy to bring on board the food delivery apps. Pick up is quick but delivery can be an hour sometimes. I get it, it’s busy. The food always arrives hot when delivered.
