Really nice family garden joint. Enjoyed a tasty baguette and salad, and a cream tea with freshly baked scones here. Great chat with the friendly owners. Recommended. No loos so plan ahead!

Cafe Verde is set in a beautiful garden and it has fabulous ocean view. Staff are incredibly warm and friendly. I cannot recommend enough. The scones are freshly baked by the owner and they are absolutely delicious. What a spectacular family-run establishment! We will be back very soon.

Really nice venue quietly tucked away yet just a few minutes walk to the old harbour, Paignton beach and pier. Lovely food and coffee etc too with a pretty little garden with sun and shade on offer. What a fantastic little family run place, very friendly. We had cream tea and wow they were so fresh and warm with a large amount of jam and cream, no skimping.
Peopl around were having other food and that looked great too.
Definitely visit and support small businesses you will not be disappointed.
A friendly, family run, cafe garden with homemade bakes. A perfect oasis to relax in, away from the crowd, just set back from the busy beach and harbour area, with a lovely sea view.
Fabulous cream teas, home made scones and plenty of jam and cream. Tasty toasted sandwiches with fresh bread. Service with a smile 😃 Mr Tesco says he will be back for more xx
Tuna Mayo sandwich and hot bagget were very nice. Lovely cuppa of Yorkshire tea so had two. The second cup was to accompany home made cakes which were excellent. Service was excellent. One downside was no toilets.

Lovely cottage style garden cafe, with a view across the bay to Torquay. Pleasant lady served us fresh made sandwiches. Averagely priced - would recommend for a tea and a sandwich or slice of cake.

Lovely cafe with really nice coffee and the best Bakewell Tart we have ever tasted. The proprietors are really friendly and helpful.
What a gem. This little quant garden cafe is great. A personality all of its own. Home made scones to die for perfection on a plate. Will be back again soon.
If you want a really good coffee this is the best I've found in the whole area. Excellent flat white with a sea view. . Outside seating only.
