Lovely pub with lots of country charm, great menu choices including vegan and large portions. I visited with young children and was made very welcome. Great outdoor space and there was even pictures and lego to keep the kids busy! We'll be back! 👍

Went for a little walk at Fairy Glen with the family and decided to go get something to eat afterwards. So we googled where to eat and this came up and we are so glad we came here! The people are lovely and the food was amazing. The kids loved their food and they are hard to please! We will definitely be coming back again!! Thank you so much for making our great day a better one!

Love calling in it at this place whether it be a quick drink after being out on our Harley or musical Sundays where they have live music from 4.30pm-6.15pm. Staff are very attentive, owners friendly and welcoming with exceptionally spotless ladies loos (until the men decide to gatecrash that is haha). Without doubt the best drinking hole in Leyland. mango cider

Went for a drive on Saturday, ended up here. Food was lovely, Landlady very Helpful with food recommendations. Good gin selection with a promise of more to come (we'll be back to try). lovely atmosphere, even got chatting to the table next to us. They live 30 mins away and make the drive once a week for tea. Can't wait to return.

The farmers arms is a great country pub near Parbold. Great for cyclists, walkers and dog walkers as it is dog friendly. We came here for lunch after a long walk I had the chicken fajitas (£11.95) which were really nice with salt and pepper chips (£2.95) these were a meal in themselves. My partner had the club sandwich (£6.95) with chips (£2.50) all the food was proper home cooked and the portions were massive

I visited this place over lunchtime during the week. The staff were very friendly and attentive. They served at the tables which was great and food was nice. My only small complaint was that there is sweetcorn in the salad! My nightmare! Please keep this away from salad! Also the salad wasn't too fresh, however it didn't take too much away from the meal as a whole, as the sandwich I had was delicious.

Excellent lunch time menu to suit all. Traditional Sunday lunch served on Sundays. Have been here several times. Most covid precautions still in place as at Sept.2021, well ventilated and notcrowded. Good for families, can also eat outside. Childrens play area too. Fathers Day 2023, excellent lunch, the perfect place to be.💕

The Function Room which we visited for a funeral reception was very nice and the food was excellent. They served a lovely buffet including 2 hot meals. I can't speak for the pub side of the business.

I arrived at 3pm. I asked if there was any availability for 5 people. The owner kindly put 2 tables together for me for our party of 5. We had a half an hour wait for food as it was busy but it was well worth the wait. The food arrived piping hot and presented very well on the plate. The owner made us feel welcome and asked us if we had enjoyed our meals. The food was amazing we couldn't fault it. The owner and bar staff were friendly and accommodating. We will definitely visit again.

Excellent lunchtime sandwiches, great value for money and brilliant service. It's off the beaten track a little bit but well worth seeking out. We followed the heritage sign from the main road on a whim - very pleased we did so. Wish we lived nearer.
