We stayed at the Prince of Wales pub during a 2 night trip to Bath to go to the Christmas Market. Both Gary & Kingsley were warm and friendly hosts. We ate in the pub on the first night and the food was typical pub food and delicious. Great breakfast and location as it is an easy journey into bath via local bus (£3 each way and the bus stop is literally outside the pub!) We were lucky enough to be there on the night of their 2nd anniversary of ownership so they had a private party which we were kindly given tickets for (fantastic party and it raised some much needed funds for a local hospice). Room 3 was spotlessly clean and had a superb view. Bathroom was also spotless and warm. All in all a fab weekend. We would love to come back to Bath again and stay at the Prince of Wales again soon
Great food. Great atmosphere. Value for money. Sunday roast is the best.
An old traditional pub with interesting features. It's host Garry was extremely helpfully and the breakfast was a days worth of food. The room was very clean and generously supplied with tea and coffee. The on suite was new and sparkling. We enjoyed our stay and being dog friendly Bella was spoilt. Would we stay here again. A big fat yes!!
Great rooms, only 5 there so nice personal touch with the manager. Had dogs with us and was ideal for them. Also ate in the restaurant which was very good pub grub! Recommended, easy bath Park and ride down down the road (Odd Down) to avoid the city centre traffic hell
This property has only recently reopened and I would say it is well worth a visit. The food, although very basic until work has finished on some refurbishment , is great value and the manager is very friendly and accommodating to help every customer. Fantastic venue.
Fantastic staff, fantastic food. All freshly cooked on site. The slow cooked pork was amazing, with gigantic portions... you will not leave this place hungry. Highly recommended
Fresh and very clean landlord very chatty and welcome .not doing food yet but soon will be plenty of beers and largers plus happy hour. Every day from 4 til 6 well worth a visit will be going back
Wow just had a lovely pub meal in The Prince of Wales. Huge portions cooked to perfection, deserts to die for, followed by coffee and fudge mmm. Really friendly staff. Definitely highly recommend!!!
