I like jempson Supermarket but not quite as much as I do when it was not working with another supermarket. I loved the fact that you could get some very different things that other supermarkets did not stock. The parts they have kept like butchers, bakers fish, and cheese counter are wonderful. Staff ate great they spend time talking to customers making g them feel special I over heard staff use first names with customers and ask them.about there day . Most of these customers were older and often on their own such a lovely touch, and you could see them walk away with a smile . Well done to a staff for taking the time 😀

Went to the cafe for breakfast. It is by far the best place my husband and I have been to for breakfast and we have been lucky enough to eat out at lots of different cafes and bars all over the world. The best eggs we have ever tasted and done just the way we asked. Could not rate it any better.

Great superstore that is well presented. It is clean and nicely laid out and that is ideal for a quick shopping experience. There is an abundance of fresh produce as well as frozen and everything seems to be high quality. There is much more on offer than food produce, there are plants and some gardening accessories to have a look at. You can also buy shower and bath products, pet food and so much more. They have a great restaurant too, food was very nice and tasty, nicely presented and portion sizes are very generous. There is a petrol station as well and they have the cheapest fuel prices around at our last visit. Highly recommended.

Jempsons is easily my favourite supermarket. We stop off at the Peasmarsh branch on our way into Rye and top up with extras as needed in their store in the centre of Rye town. We only visit the area once or twice a year and all I can say is we wish we had a Jempsons near us. It feels like the perfect cross between a Wholefoods and an expansive French supermarket. Loads of local produce, awesome bread, friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere. It all feels very considered and well stocked. The CEO of Sainbury's should take a long look at the Jempsons model or maybe get the Jempsons management team onboard to help out because Sainsbury's need to up their game!

Very smart restaurant for a supermaket! The menu was spot on with lots of local fresh produce and regional recipes. I had the 'Marsh Melt' lamb burger, local Rother & Weald lamb, with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. Delicious. Bring an appetite!

Lovely breakfast @jempsonssuperstore today. Staff were very friendly and calmly coped with 15 mouths to feed! The store is beautifully presented and the local produce is amazing and keenly priced for the quality. The chocolate counter was to die for!

Jempsons have recently teamed up with Morrisons replacing the Co-operative as a supplier. While I love Jempsons, I was never that keen on the Co-op products which were generally low quality but pricey. But now with Morrisons, the opposite is true with a range of competitively priced and good quality products.

An update of my review I find most of the staff very friendly, and the store has a wonderful selection of food. Most of the food I had from Jempson's has been very tasty. I always shopped at Waitrose but find myself in Jempson's much more often now. I have got used to the layout now, and am able to find things more easily. Not as keen on the new cafe yet, been a few times with friends, not overly impressed with the food, and getting a frothy coffee from non diary milk is a challenge. Perhaps a change of management/cook of the cafe could turn things around in future here. I always believe if you serve good food, you will always busy! Hopefully it will improve when it re-opens. Update 2 Since the re-opening and Clemency taking over as head chef at the CAFE, the food and service has improved significantly. The coffee is great, the breakfast "Amazing" the best I have had in the local area! I am now a regular customer!

Jempson's is a family favourite and our go to for local grocery necessities (when we are able to spend a little more to support local businesses). I'm a big fan of the fill-your-own options here. This grocer is perfect for those looking for a central hub to buy local produce in East Sussex/west Kent, but it can be a little pricey on some larger brands - understandable! The butcher counter and bakery are fantastically stocked and have well-priced items. The handmade frozen bake-at-home pieces near the front are fantastic in a pinch, as are their prepped meals. I love their local produce and dairy, and their garlic strands are my favourite! Highly recommend.

Visited 3wks ago. An absolute gem of a place. A calm and easy shopping experience. We also had a coffee and the young lady in the cafe (Becky I think ?) was friendly helpful and knowledgeable. The menu looked extensive and inviting. Will most definitely be returning. Thank you.

First visit to store today as we have recently moved to the area and all I can say is WOW. We will 100% be coming back. The bakery items are delicious whoever makes them should win an award ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Also the range of meat produce is excellent, top quality. A real family feel as soon as you walk through the doors 👍
