We stayed nearby and visited the pub lunchtime and evening and it was very quiet both times. However the service was quick and friendly and we enjoyed the beer. I believe there is a restaurant area but we stayed in the bar area as we had a dog. There is a car park and garden.

Love this quite sanctuary
In a beautiful part of Luton with rolling hills all around. The food is out of this world and the land lady are staff are too kind
The rooms are clean and quaint.
Definitely a must for a quite romantic weekend away x

Just finished eating a meal. 6 of us. Very nice food! Very nice staff. Very friendly.
Good quality food in my opinion. Well worth a visit. Our first time there. Will definitely be going back. Lovely building. Comfortable surroundings. The best bit, it was quiet and we could have conversation without having to shout! It was a Monday though so I guess, expect it to be less quiet on other days.

I use this place as a basecamp when going for a walk in the beautiful pegsdon hills. The pub serves good food (Sunday roast seems v popular) & the selection of beers seems to be generous (though I am not a beer drinker myself). Has a beer garden when the weather is fine & a conservatory when it is not. Old pub with plenty of character in panoramic scenery.

Sat in the garden and had lunch. The views are fantastic and the food is very good too. The staff are so lovely nothing was a problem they went out of their way to make sure everything was ok . Even stopped and had a chat with us. Very welcoming . Great menu you won't be disappointed.

Perfect place for a drink before climbing the hill. Staff were lovely and we felt very welcome here. Nice garden too. We didn't eat so can't comment on the food.

Lovely, clean modern rooms. Beautiful surroundings. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. I have coeliacs disease and Chrissie went out of her way to cater for me and made sure I had a lovely dinner and breakfast. Such a shame It was raining so we weren't able to take a walk and explore but at least that gives us a good excuse to return!
