King William Iv - Pembury - Photo album

First time I've ever been to this pub, and found it very welcoming, the landlady was lovely and chatty, so was some of the customers that I stood by waiting to be served, I would definitely recommend, it's really relaxed and has a good atmosphere, will definitely be returning for a nice cold beer.
A great little pub, and a good selection of ales. Will be back at the earliest opportunity
Excellent pub, great service from landlord and quality ales / beers. Atmosphere was good, plenty of locals in.
Great Little pub. Had visited before and it was okay, but new owner/landlord noticed a big difference and some Great Local Ales. Great to see. I didn't eat, but saw some pizza's on another table. Looked oven crispy baked, looked very nice. Will try net time for sure.
Lovely friendly welcoming pub. Stopped in for a quick drink on Boxing Day with my wife while we were out on a walk from our hotel The Mercure in Pembury. Many locals in the pub who were very friendly. My wife had an excellent glass of wine and I had a perfect pint of real ale. I highly recommend The
Friendly, attractive pub in a great location for walks. Lovely selection of well kept local ales. Not much more to say - this is a beer orientated pub done to perfection.
Best range of different real ales of the Pembury pubs. Also the cheapest. Relaxed atmosphere and pleasant landlord. Comfortable. Will definitely make this my local whenever we visit my mother-in-law here.
Put this pub on your good list. Very clean, well kept variety of ales. Gents very clean.Friendly locals and excellent bar staff.
My regular pub. Doesn't do food but they're fine with you bringing takeaway so long as you're getting drinks. Has the biggest selection of ales in Pembury
Great pub if you want a place for a friendly drink. No food but there's other pubs in the village for that.
Really friendly and popular pub with a good selection of very reasonably priced beers on tap.
Such a warm welcoming from staff and owners when we arrived. Good selection of ciders and beers available and most importantly my little dog was more than welcome. Looks like I have a new local πŸ˜€β€πŸΎπŸ»πŸ·β
Clean modern design with out losing the original character of the building. Great service and wonderful welcome from the landlord and lady. Good selection of drinks, I personally very much enjoyed "Pig n Porter - Red Spider" (local ale)
Stopped here on our way back home from Hastings. Nice pub, it was clean and friendly with a garden and play area out back. We had a roast chicken dinner and a burger, both were delicious. The roast was generous with lashings of gravy and all the trimmings, the burger was homemade and 100% beef.
Super friendly. Good selection of wines and good selection on draught beers/ales. Darts, pool, table football, Clean and tidy. As we were out of town visitors the staff and locals were extremely helpful and pleasant.
A real local with real beer. A pub. Not a pub restaurant. Go for chats at the bar and treat yourself to a pickled egg. Proper landlord too. Update, Aug 2022: Still an amazing proper pub. Update, Oct 2022: No change
Great pub, great choice of all types of drinks. New menu now up and running too. I strongly recommend Colins Pasties and Scotch Eggs. Really clean, well maintained and beautiful atmosphere. Thank you ☺️
Ventured here again, about fifth time? When last here had been done up. One of three pubs in Pembury village. Really nice with garden, 5/6 real ales plus great choice lagers. Now open daily from Noon and with a good menu (not Mondays). Had something to eat this time. Excellent and about Β£2/3 cheaper
